Thread: ***PVP ACCURACY LOGS***
Decided to post the last two fights. This was right by the base so I was getting swarmed. One thing that does stand out is each of these fights where I was getting attacked by at least 3 people I was able to take one of them out. The last one the guy was already damaged from the previous fight so take that as you will. If our profession can take those kind of numbers and still take someone out we are not as broken as the whiners would lead you to believe, we are not perfect though.
Again it shows my very low hit rate, my mind was pretty much gone trying to kill one. 2 of them were comando's and check out the auto attack damage they did, then the nice 1,745 special at the end.

This guy does nothing but make assumptions.
Thats his whole problem. He assumes because I stick up for the novice riflemen I am one, and he assumes that because I want changes made for the class it is because I can't pvp.
The whole problem with you Silverlobo is the fact I know I can pvp, but that doesn't stand in the way of me not wanting those people who aren't master not to be so **edit**ing gimped.
Where you could give a rats ass about them because you are master riflemen and YOU THINK you are uber.

In regards to PvP I don't fight this way anymore: Riflemen miss constantly (almost always) while moving (decreases to accuracy should be just as severe for any other ranged weapons specialist); Have to be at least 40m away (but never are because some sucker with a pp is always shooting at point blank range); to get a shot off while NOT moving one has to be in a lowered position and usually aim (now after the patch). If you don't believe how hard it is to fight with a riflemen, replay and I'll send thread of my Combat Log showing how I can't even PvE Snorbals anymore because I miss or when I do hit them with Warning shot, It has absolutely NO effect until the 3rd to even the 5th time I hit them.

is this a bug or something but how can you use snipershot twice on the same target? says he was dead but still executed the command and dmged him for 50 points of dmg? does the log not record things properly?

Yeah, I get that bug sometimes. I stopped using sniper shot and just deathblow people whenever possible now. You'll snipershot them and it'll kill them and say they're already dead, and you won't get the faction. Happens rarely, but happens.
Anyway, maybe my own reading comprehension is down, but what's the argument in this thread?
Lobo shows logs indicating that rifleman accuracy sucks, we miss way too much and it takes 20 seconds to kill some crappy melee brawler (if that guy had been a BH, he would have eyeshot Lobo 20 times... or rather, 5 times, and then he'd be incaped).
The other guy argues that Lobo is a big stupid-head and that he needs to wake up and realize how gimp riflemen are.
Aren't they both saying the same thing? Breezing through the thread I feel like I'm watching two people argue like, "Riflemen suck!" "OMG you noob no they don't! Riflemen suck!"
I do agree with one point of contention: Riflemen should not have to become TKA's to deal with close range combat. Pistoleers don't. Carbineers don't. Commando's don't. Bounty Hunters don't. What makes riflemen so special that we do? We miss the most, we have the worst DPS, we die in melee, we have no plusses that measure up to these enormous minuses.

Its just a text bug, if i fry someone with my flamer it'll say Whampyri uses your flamethrower etc etc.
.Also if you post logs without additional info they are simply meaningless.

I stated right from the begining that the logs were to show our hit percentage. All this other crap is sidebar stuff that has nothing to do with my logs. You people really need to actually read before typing a response, half the posts are people trying to make it out that I am saying we are uber and the other half are saying I doctored up the logs to make us look good. While the reason for this post was to show we are missing to much, and the logs show this in alot of cases.
Reason why so many people are flamming? Because their whining has clouded their vision, they know I wont put up with it so the just assume what thisthread was about without even reading it.
