Every other stun weapon in the game is AP0. This is what sets the jawa rifle apart from them. The ability to have Light Armor Piercing and do stun damage against composite armor. Not to mention most of the damage is usually to the head.

But if they talk about PVPing in Anchorhead, not being able to "afford" stun armor, and not wanting to take the time to "shop" for things to have fun in PVP, My bet is they are a noob, post count be damned.

If your gong to PVP then dont complain about dying.
it doesnt matter wether riflemankills you or 5 jedi grouped it goes with the territory. Overt makes you a target and if you were scanned that is also part of the game get to a recruter asap and hide for an hour if your afraid lol or dye with honor and tell your killer well done, and bow with respect, that is how you PVP not yelling to nerf evryone who kills you.
I once got scanned seen a recruiter got reset overt (it takes an hour to reset) I forgot I was still over a short time later ran into the coronet starport and a TKA took me down in 3 second lol. I had no clone set so had to visit med center lol but sent a tell to my assasin
" got scanned a whle ago forgot I was overt you caught me with my pants down, very well done, you are a true warrior and I look forward to hopefully battling you in the future, again well done and may the force be with you"
His reply " Wow most people always whine about not being ready or its ot fair and swear at me, Thank you for being a good sport and win or lose I't would be honor to meetyou on the battlefield someday"
This is how you PVP if I didnt have to heal and had met him in the spaceport after I would have bowed and spoke openly for all to hear, he was the better soldier and battled fairly.
So stop your whining and be prepared to die in PVP or do not PVP its that simple

People are not whining about Rifleman in PvP because of Stun damage or Headshot 3.
People are whining about Rifleman in PvP because their pool attack targets the one HAM pool that cannot be healed, is the most difficult to buff, and is actually used up to heal the other two pools.
This is not a Rifleman issue. This is not a PvP issue. This is a COMBAT SYSTEM issue that will not be resolved until the Mythical Combat Revamp (TM) occurs sometime in the distant future, far, far away.
In other words, people will be complaining about this until the SWG servers are shut down and the game goes out of business, because we all know how quickly the Mythical Combat Revamp (TM) is moving through the development process... *cough*cough*over9monthsofwaiting*cough*

Vulnerabilities do not take AP into consideration. It simply allows the raw damage to go through and not get resisted by anything. Meaning a 300 damage stun baton and a 300 damage jawa rifle will do the exact same amount of damage to someone wearing stun vuln composite.

1. If you hate getting killed by Rifleman, don't go overted.
2. If you don't have the time or money for food, buffs and stun armor you'll be finding urself getting killed by every other combat profession in PVP not just Rifleman, heckeven a Pikeman would have a good chance of killing you, even if you have really good composite without buffs, food and drink your a sitting duck in PVP.

The same number of people that actually use a jawa when fighting stun armor. So no it doesn't take it into effect since it is the worst weapon in that situation and anyone using it is a fool. It is only powerful/useful when there is a vulnerability to it, when stun layers get added then energy (T-21) becomes the better damage type readily available. Ifthe jawais only powerful/useful when armor is vulnerable to it, and vulnerability disregards AP then AP does not come into play.

How many people do you know that pvp without stun armor? So, yes, it does take effect.

Quick... all self-respecting riflemen must immediately report to the TK forum and post some ridiculous request to nerf one of TKM's many ways of killing us simply because it(a) was not in the films or (b) works too well.
Either reason will work, just please make sure your arguments are poorly developed and without merit.
We can flood their boards and become targets for a brutal flameout similar to the one that resulted from this thread.
"NERF KD"
"NERF TK Buff"
"NERF Force of Will"
"NERF Everyone but me..."

While you say your problem is just riflemen, how well do you far against a TKM, while you are unbuffed, with medocre armor, and without any food or drink? Lemme guess...you get smoked. In the current system of the game, in order to PvP you NEED to get good armor, get buffs, and have good food. The combat balance won't change this, all the CB is going to change is that buffs will have a lesser effect (like musician buffs do now.) This will still cause the person who has the most HAM combined with the best armor, and the best food to win. So as much as you say riflemen need a nerf, its more along the line that you need to realize that unarmored, unbuffed PvP is dead. It died a few months after launch when the Revenge TEF went away. Now there are no "battles" just small skirmishes where extreemly prepared groups duke it out in small numbers. Your PvP "style"has died, and I too wish it was brought back, but thats not gonna happen.

1/1/3 HAM
+80 @ 0 meters
+140 @ 50 meters
+1000 @ 63 meters

a quick solution to your problem, just don't PvP.like you said you neither have the time or money to get good equipments and foods and buffs. what makes a good pvp playeris part equipment (weapons, armors) buffs and skill..so if you don't have em don't even bother wtih pvp

I AM TIRED OF ALL THOSE ION RIFLES.
80% of all my PvP deaths I've been slain by a sniper shot wich means a rifleman killed me, both my Health and Action bars untouched while my mind bar depleted in a very short time.
Im tired of being surprised by stupid PvP wankers at starports or places like AnchorHead spamming headshot 3 with Ion riflesas soon as you gets your nose inside of their range.
The Devs have proven themselves to not follow SW weaponry very well.
The Jawa ion rifle deals out ionization(sorry for mispelling if any) damageto disable droids, NOT TO WHACK PEOPLE OR ANIMALS.
Stun can whack a biological being senseless,
while
Ion can whack a droid or other electrical things (like a starfighters control system) senseless.
Stun doesnt work on electrical things while Ion doesnt work on on biological things (except cyborgs....part bio, part electromagnetic)
I've heard rumors about nerfing rifleman and/or at least the headshot skills because so many have complained about peoplespamming headshot 3 in PvP battles, with this most of us that choosed rifleman for PvE purposes will be more or less just crap.
Our pool attacks will be almost useless.
A solution to this is simple:
either
1. Nerf the Jawa Ion rifle considerabily (Ion riflesmade espically for PvP deals out ALOT OF DAMAGE)
or
2. The DEV's can keep "stun" as the Jawa rifles damage type, BUT...make the Jawa rifle usable ONLY ON DROIDS and you cant even attack at all or hit another beeing wich isnt a droid, not even with area attack.
I guess alot of you will just tell me to get buffed, eat alot of food and get stun armor....if thats the case, my answer is:
I have neither the time or money to run around buffed all the time, buying alot offood, and looking for good stun armor (wich is almost impossible to get withut spending a fortune)
I want to play the game, have fun and get a challenge, not running around in constant fear of beeing whacked at every corner at starports or grinding money all the time.
