yer.. but when they fix slicing you should be able to get it up to 1200max with a good slice and a 19%dam 0%speed PUP.
and it does have that lower action cost.. think of it as an assault rifle rather than a pulling/sniping weapon.

Well,i have a problem, first boba told me to get a carbine,can i get the rifle anyway? I am rifleman not carbineer.
Also,.i went into space but the ship the computer said was my target hit hyperspace and i failed the mission.
What do i do now?

Did you guys seriously walk that stupid scientist all the way back to the Mining Outpost?
First I redid the whole Warren quest because there were so many little scientists guys there that the computer on the wall wasblocked and I missed it 
. Then I got frustrated and looked for a walkthru on the forums. Getting the scientist out of the Warren was easy once I knew where to look for the computer, but getting him to follow me the 6km to the Mining Outpost was not fun.

I could not get him to swim and had to find either shallow places to walk, or ways around rivers. I got him 3/4 the way back to the Mining Outpost and that took almost 1 hour of walking before a spawn of Hurtons decided to attack him. I was 50m away from the nearest hurton, but after I passed the hurton, itslowly crept up to us like the scientist had used a concealshot on him, it was wierd. I killed the Hurton, but the scientist got stuck in TKA mode and would not stop shadow boxing so I figured it was bugged and left him after about 10 minutes.
I'm going back today to try again, I guess I will put a good movie in to watch while I walk back, unless anyone here knows a faster way to do that part of the mission. Can I go to a closer town, or does it have to be the Mining Outpost?

When Boba tells you to get the carbine, that's jsut hte first phase of hte mission. There is a lot more to it. That part is for the Needler carbine. When you get to the DC-15, Boba asks you if you want a rifle or a carbine. Just continue with the quest.

How do I beat the space part in the first mission? i get to dant space and Pull up to the smuggler. No other ships ever attack...
Once I do attack the smuggler and have him disabled, It'll wait about 10 seconds andI get"sensors detect ship powering up" then it becomes invincible.

I found out yesterday that you don't have to escort thatscientist the whole way 
. The first time I did it the mission was bugged and the droids never showed up so I failed when I left him. The second time I still got the message saying I had 10 seconds to get back to the escort, but the mission never failed and I was able to open the box.

OK the scientist part comes after the smuggler guy. but to beat the smuggler part you have to disable him, let him fix his ship, follow him as he floats off, try to avoid him shooting at you, and eventually two ships will attack you and he will hyper off. just kill the two ships and head to yavin 4. easy as pie.....if you can handel teir threes that is

OK im gonna post this here cause I couldn't find a post that i could understand on how to do the warren quest for the DC15 weapons.
First off you DON"T have to walk him to the mining outpost. All you have to do is go into the first room in thw warren and use the computer terminal to the right. This guy named ogl'wozax or something like that will spawn and you need to talk to him INSIDE the warren. The two times i walked out without talking to him it didn't work. once you talk to him walk your way out and you will get attacked by some droids, sometimes even before you leave (atleast thats what happened to me). Once your outside the guy will still follow you and if you leave him behind it says you failed but you really don't. Just go to the minning outpost cantina "use" the box and head back to Boba.
Now as for the pistol quest after that I tried it but messed it up cause i killed all the claw gurads before i attempted to go into the office and i guess that was not the thing to do. so i have to try that again later. If anyone knows how to do that please post it for me so i don't have to do it a thousand times like the other two quests.
