Aloha Folks!

Thanks for coming to my defense on this, although with Hapoon we still won't get through his thick skull on this I think he's just pissed because I blasted him on his "I can't beat TKA thread" earlier yesterday.

Now Harpoon...*shakes head* where to begin? Let's try these facts, questions, and responses to you:

1. Why don't you post your template? Including ALL the professions you have mastered, and what you are right now. Here's mine: Master Rifleman / Master TKA / Scout 4040 / Medic 2000 / Marksman 4001 / Brawler 4000. There ya go. If you add up all the skill points, I think they come out to 250. Now I could go and take away the medic and scout skills and get something else to do (i would have 66 points to play with) but I don't because I use Ikaika to also hunt and gather resources. I haven't mastered ANY other professions as Ikaika. And I mastered Rifleman about 6 weeks ago now.

2. I chose TKA / Rifleman not because it was FOTM. Here's my reason for choosing these 2 professions. TKA = because my buddy was TKA and I noticed a few things:1) he could take a lot of damage; 2) he could deal a lot of damage; 3) he always got the loot (what can I say, I'm greedy!); 4) because I though it was cool and fun. Here's some of the reasons I chose Rifleman: 1)I'm a rifleman in the Army reserves, why not here?; 2) I always wanted to be one in this game anyway; 3) I wanted to be able to deal A LOT of damage, and after researching, rifleman were the best damage dealers, 4) I was going to going to build Ikaika to be a PvP and PvE damage dealer to begin with, and 5) I wanted the ranged DB to kill people with.

3. Defense stacking? Man, are you on crack...still? If I wanted a defense stacking template I'd have gone Pistoleer / Fencer / Rogue or some such. As near as I can tell w/o being in the game to check, my ranged defense is +50, and my melee defense is +52. Compared to the +180ish and +200 ish from the true stacker, I suck. The only thing I have over +100 is unarmed speed and accuracy. Yes, I have melee mitigation 3 and ranged mitigation 3. So would anyone else who has a Melee / Ranged combo. LOL...drugs are bad, mmmm'kay?

4. Anotherreason why I chose TKA - I can cure my own wounds and disease / poison / bleeds. That's it. While grinding TKA and Rifles, I never used powerboost or FoW.I only use it now as needed in PvP, and I do this only because I thought I'd give it atry. Besides, in PvP..assuming I live after the FoW, I can only use it like 1 time every hour.

5. My other character Kamehameha was my Holo-Whore.Ikaika is going to stay a TKA/Rifleman until he dies. Jump around to the best combinations?Why the hell not? If someone wants to be the best atkilling, he'll go to wherehe will have the best chance at survival or stay where he is and learn how to fight effectively and survive. It sounds like you are advocating staying in one professionthe whole time you play. If you are, you're just being ignorant...again. At the same time, every profession has a weakness or counter profession to it. If you are a Rifleman / Chef...please don'texpect to beat me all the time. However, a Rifleman / Chef could easily kill me if they use good tactics. Not likely, but they could

6.Sorry this one is for PsychoticChipmunk: 2 things : 1) Love the name!, and 2) I was seriously considering Swordsman for that same reason, but really wanted the ability to heal my wounds and different DoTs. But, what I would love about Swordsman is the Blast Damage on the Powerhammer.

7. Attacking Random HAM bars: Dude, you really are friggin stupid aren't you? TKA has 1 attack that specifiacally attacks the mind pool, UA Head Hit 1. 1 attack for the action pool, UA Leg Hit 1, and 1 attack for the Health Pool, UA body hit 1. Everything else is an attack on a random pool.

8. TKA aint getting nerfed. Get over it...and damnit, learn how to friggin fight, will ya? Are you a Rifleman or a crybaby? Rifleman don't cry, we get even.

9. Picking the rebellion is the path of least resistence? Not on Valcyn, dickhead. The GCW is in full flavor over here, and the Imps kick some major butt! Tossing out one liners just makes you look more and more like a friggin idiot.

10. Ok, timeout. I want you all to look at a couple things here:

Harpoon said"...but i fear that by the time i get master, riflemen will get nerfed by association, as they are beginning to be."

He also said "...I have been a plain rifleman since the game started."

and also "...But while I b1tch, other people like the ones i mentioned just hop to the next flavour of the month like a cheap wh0re, and then brag about how good they are."

and finally "...People like you are always jumping around, getting the best combinations, etc"

other facts: he joined the forum 7/03, but claims to have been playing since the beginning...ok, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. He has posted 1700+ times. Ok, good, he likes to post.

What really got me here is the fact that he plainly says he isn't a master rifleman yet. Despite being here since the game started.We are talking around 8 months now. Even playing for only 8 hours a week, he should have mastered Rifleman, but maybe he is just a REALLY slow learner. And yet he also accuses us of being FOTM folk who jump from profession to profession. Hmm? I smell a rat, a liar, a hypocrite, and someone just trying to get a rise out of all of us. My suggestion...let's just ignore his dumb a$$ everytime he posts. Maybe then he'll finally go away.

Sorry for the length on this, I just hate some twerp trying to argue something he has no friggin clue about.
