they need to understand that you can't balance professions that easily. Sure, ok: pistols fastest, least damage, carabines medium damage, medium speed, rifles strongest, slowest firing speed. All have their strengths and weaknesses, right? Wrong - one profession will turn out to be more "ownage"... i predict it will be pistol users, because speed is pretty important. Yes you might be doing less damage, but you are firing faster, and if you miss you can fire again right away instead of having to wait. Plus, many pistols have damages exceeding or approaching those of rifles, scatters for example. And many specials do tons of damage, smuggler's Last Ditch Shot does atleast as much damage as headshot3 or strafeshot2.

You do realize the inital post where the devs talked about speed capping by weapon type is like 6 months old.They mentioned it once and then never again, I'm not going to worry about it til we get an official announcement.

Id love to see comandos get the tri-pod T21s... set up a heavy machinegun nest...
But i guess thats what "cover" is all about. So it does seem we get he heavey gunner roll...

But hey its a game and we shouldnt expect too much realism.

you havent read it accuractly enough haun....this will means our damage output will be greater, with the cost of lesser speed
