you people whining about pistol damage really don't know anything about how this game works do you? do you know what the fire delay is when using a 1.6 spd fire delay fwg5 is when you're master pistoleer? that's right, it's exactly 1.0 seconds. do you know what the fire delay is using a 7.0 spd t21 at master rifleman is? it's one F*CKING SECOND.

I don't want to hear any more bitching about pistols, when you do WAY more damage PER SECOND than pistoleers do.

Recently found a sliced t21 with these stats.

Damage 160-460
Speed 7.4
Wound 24%

accuracy
Min: -20@0m (can't remeber if it's exactly that)
Ideal: -1@50m
Max: +10@64M

cost: usual (can't remeber exact)

now...I think that's pretty good...slap a hair-trigger weapon powerup on it and ya can get speed 5...so how is that bad?

you know, those stats are kinda meh.. i have been holding onto my original T-21.. one of the first ones made. just been re-repairing it over and over.

it has 176-471 damage at 6.6 speed. it has alot less ham use then the ones being put out now. sadly when i got it sliced it was a crappy speed slice. so the damage is original. i usually throw a 33% speed/16% min damage on it and makes it 206-471 with only 4.4 speed. thats pretty cool i think.

but problem is.. with this awesome T21, i still cant compete with even the pistols or NOW the carbines are mad crazy over rifles. .. i think rifles are just the worst weapons, even tho they are supposed to be the aw so powerfull one hit sniper kill gun. kinda like 100 hit sniper kill

all your really getting when you choose the T21 over a Laser Rifle, from what I've seen and heard, is a higher min. damage (around 100 higher) at a cost of about 2 seconds.

I'm on Kauri, and I have no problem finding a nice Laser Rifle (w/out Krayt tissue). T21's are very rare, because the overall consensus is they are not worth it.

Most people I've talked to have gone with the following 2 weapons:

1. Laser Rifle for most everything...

2. Spraystick forlow level creatures (which no one kills anymore anyway). But most importantly for bigger battles, where you can duck out in the back, and quickly mind bleed a whole slew of the enemy with the quick 2.0 second turnover.

BTW, my laser rifle is 50-510 damage, 5.6 sec. 90% of the time I'd say I'm takin people down with 2-3 mindshots... and that's only mindshot 2
