Thread: klawlegna New rifleman correspondent, anybody knows him?
I do hope we can move on and get more productive with Rifleman related topics.
I'm sorry if I've not settled well with a few of you, being you don't know me. However, I'm not inthe postion to set us back further than we are with the Development Team. It's been a long delay between Correspondents for us and I understand that. Which is why I think we should move forward to begin what is important and that's action of our profession.
Folks can we stop attacking our new correspondent. If we get hit with the nerf bat, we can blame him
SOE has proved over the years to make strange changes. Aldeon was probably one of the best corresponts we could have had. Lets all be happy it is not Silverlobo as our person that represents us

I am astounded, frankly. TH doesn't even bother to ask for applicants for the position, despite there being several extremely qualified candidates. Instead he just shovels onto us someone most of us have never heard of, and who doesn't value the profession enough to actively participate in the forum prior to being named Correspondent...
...and yet I'M somehow the bad guy because I don't feel the situation warrants roses and sunshine and little twittering bluebirds.
Amazing.
Why am I disturbed by this statement? The "end-game" is not PvP, dispite many claims of this. We *might* be balanced there (or even slightly ahead) at master, but I bet you have not had your &ss handed to you by a giant chicken-critter you needed to harvest to fill a contract for a merchent crying for Avian Meat. Your "balance" should also include PvE.

This class does what it is meant to do, the key for the new corespondent is to make sure it stays that way. Worst thing he could do is alow "popular" changes that have taken nothing into account when it comes to balance ruin this profession.

You are not reading the majority of posts in this thread correctly. Most of us have stated we are willing to work with klawlegna... we don't know him well but will see how things play out.
The complaint, as VG mentioned, is strictly with SOE and their methods. I consider this a community. I feel a certain synergy with other riflemen and enjoy the posts of those who contribute frequently. The problem is that we had an AMPLE SUPPLY of knowledgeable, well-spoken riflemen who had demonstrated time and again their dedication and devotion to our riflemen community. For SOE to totally ignore that and assign someone who had NOT demostrated such devotionis a travesty. NOTE:This is NOT the fault of klawlegna.
Doing it this way causes two obvious problems:
(1) Trust is broken, or at least badlydamaged, within the community.
(2) Klawlegna is put into a very tough position.
Klawlegna .... at leastyou are active here now. You have my support because you have the job. Good luck... you have a lot of disappointment and frustration to turn around.
