Not sure if you guys know this but I went out the other night to kill NS Elders looking for Lances (Master Pikeman) and they had 100% to everything but Light Sabre and that they were Vulnerable to.

  • NS Riflemen can kill: Initiates, Outcasts, Rangers, Sentries, Rancor Tamers, Sentinals, & Elders.
  • NS's 100% resistant to energy, stun, acid, cold, heat: Protectors, Spell Weavers and Stalkers.

  • Elders are low in energy resists and are good targets for riflemen. They are often surrounded by protectors, spell weavers and stalkers which are 100% resistant to all riflemen damage types - that's where melee skills are a necessity.

Fixed. Restraint is a removed damage type. No weapon does that type of damage.

min is going to last a little longer than 5 minutes past server up now heh.

but the general rule is that the more HAM the creature has the better the items it can drop. rancors can drop some pretty nice loot and tend to drop items a bit more frequently than NPC types.

my opinion is that drop rates on all critters is horrid. even if you hunt them for a week all day long your not liekly to get anything worthwhile.

Do NS from diffeerent places drop at a different rate? Or different items?

For instance, do they drop better at the fortress than at the forced labor cave? Or better in the wilds?

It seems to be pretty random. Elders are generally regarded as dropping the best items, but Rangers, Outcasts, Protectors, and Stalkers have dropped great things. Sheesh, even Initiates. Doesn't really matter where you kill them either- since the fortress and labor camp are usually camped, I do have to recommend just looking for random spawns. You can usually get 2 new groups to spawn shortly after the first one too. If there was one NS that was better than all the rest, I'd have to say that'd be Axkva Min. She's the one who spawns only once per day at the bottom of the cave next to the fortress. She dies about 5 minutes after every reset though, so good luck. If you are lucky enough, you may end up with an Energy Lanceschematic or the vibro motors needed for it.

its condition wasnt that high you are lying buddy
first off the max condition for ALL looted weapons is 750, and secondly they are almost never in full condition unless they are repaired so all unrepaired looted weapons are always xxx/750

The Tusken King Rifle still does kinetic damage. The speed is 14 seconds, so this rifle is limited to speed capped rifleman.

The rifle can be obtained by not finishing the Polished Krayt Skull quest. When you get the rifle, walk away from the quest. The damage sucks, but speed capped with it and it's better than nothing. Especially when you use strafe2.

But you aren't 'certified' to use it. Otherwise, we'd all have one
