The quested weapons are okay, but there does need to be something done to let weaponsmiths craft at least some of them as well.
A character can only (in theory) quest for that weapon once, and they then get a weapon for free. But then they have to either deal with eventually losing the weapon to decay, using an ADK on the weapon, or never using the weapon.

I don't know whether WSs should be able to craft BETTER than the quested weapons, but they should at least be able to go very close to equalling them, BEFORE any enhancements like krayt tissue.
There has to be a motivation to do the quest to gain the reward, but there should also be a way to get the weapon replaced if players really like it. Paying someone millions of credits for a quest reward shouldn't be a "solution".
If the enhancements can be added to make better versions, that still gives folks some motivation to seek out an artisan to make them a custom weapon, and crafters can still buy enhancements and have a wider range of weapons to apply them to.

This way, the quest reward is still meaningful and worthwhile, but the crafters don't get screwed over any further.

And any "schematic" should be unlimited use. It's so ridiculous that a Master Weaponsmith can make a weapon, but is too stupid to be able to copy the schematic data so he can make as many as he likes. If he can make the weapon once then he can make it again and again and again. Not being able to do so is stupid, stupid, stupid.
