why is it that all of your guns have an estimated dps of like 150 pts higher than a regular normal quest gun?

Speed powerups. I use a -34.11% Attack Speed mod powerup on all my weapons. If the SAC cost is too high no them I use a +32.66 Damage Mod powerup. If the SAC cost is REALLY high I use a -28.9% SAC Cost Reduction powerup.


Same gun, numerous uses and situations where each powerup type can be handy to have around. The speed improvement comes at a cost of accuracy (which can be accounted for with food and other mods). The damage pup slows down your firing some, which in many cases HELPS the situation (more damage w/fewer shots means less SAC issues). It's all give and take.


Hope that helps explain it. I actually have very few personal mods for improving my rifle speed....if I were a rifleman/bh/marksman with all associated speed mods these would be much higher.
