i don't recall the martian ever holding a rifle, of course i could be wrong.


He has held a pistol, as well as Daffy. Porky was a pikeman at one point as well (when daffy did the robin hood gig)

I believe the Martian had a rifle at some point, but so did Daffy (or is it Duffy, can't remember) Duck when they were fighting over some deserted rock in outerspace, ie. planet X.

On the current on going topic. Sam also carried a shotgun a few times. Did so in the Connecticut Rabbit, chasing bugs around antebellum South and at the end when he was in Chattanooga where the Yankees were playing baseball. Because the messenger rode and and said the Yankees were in Chattanooga.


There was also southern gentleman who had the bulldog who also hada shotgun. Remember.
