I meant nothing bad to the Docs, and i agree they provide a great service right now.......... My point was stated for the simple fact that why.......WHY should the involvement of PvP be contingent on another Professoin?? why should we have to rely on Docs.......to get involved in PvP?? Cuz without em your dead in 1-2 shots....

Uhh, see......... that is exaclty one of the reasons why u get 100 tells a minute for buffs.... cuz without em... there is no point In PVP'ing.

Just another reason to get rid of Buffing......... That is what you proved here.

I actually agree with you. Perhaps a cap on max hams. Not sure, but here's why I think this would really be great. The players have gotten FAR stronger than the devs had planned on. If you have a strong combat character, you usually don't need a group of more than 3 to take down ANYTHING in the game! This isn't the way MMORPG's should be.... For the upper level gameplay you should be forced to work in large groups, utilizing the skills of many different proffesions in combination.

For example, me and a group of 3 other friends took down an ancient canyon krayt, the strongest creature in the game. I was a pistoleer/CH, another friend is bh carbines, and my third friend is commando. It should take amazing teamwork and strategy to defeat the strongest creature in the game, not to mention numbers. Here was our "uber" strat. Me: sicks pet on krayt, Me: sicks at-st on krayt (gets aoe agro), commando: dot's, pistoleer + pistoleer + carbine damage = 10,000 (maybe). That's it...switch agro between at-st and pet when needed and basically all it boils down to is 2 pets and 1 commando can do the strongest creature in the game. This is post CH nerf as well.

Perhaps toning down the crafting system might help. I just want some endgame content damnit :/

Man just take a second to THINK!

Tell me where did you get your gun? Where did you get your armor? how about your harvesters and your house?

EVERYTHING in this game depends on others, imagine runnng around with only looted weapons.

I do not agree wtih you, without buffs most people will drop in 2 shots. It happens now with mind but we are talking health shots.

It happens with mind yes.... Cuz that is the only pool that is somewhat accessable to kill. With U keep thinking that someone will be able to Demolish anothers HAM without being buffed themselfs...

Taking out buffs is a 2 fold thing. One: The other person shooting CAN'T spam.... NObody will be dying in 2 shots if this is the case.... or the other person will soon die in one shot.....

TWO: uhh with 3k HAMs.... even spamming specials.... it TAkes 50 years to knock down a 3k HAM.... why do you think people go for the MInd pool so much?? I'll much rather hit a 1500-2000 HAM that is hard to heal..... over a 3k HAM that is Extremely easy to heal.... and that regens EXTREMELY Fast....

You are forgetiing that there are still forms of a buff out there.... FOOD, Drink, Drugs!! this will buff enough that someone doesnt get killed in 2 shots. Gimmme a break man. You are acting like people will have a 400 HAM. Think about it just a little bit. With Food buffs only.... you can still get over 1000-1500 HAM's with armor and other food buffs... You will last longer than 2 shots. Gimme a friggin break.

The only time u may seem to last for 2 shots is when its 5 on 1.... and in that case you should lose. This is WAR, uhh people arent meant to survive 20 shots.....

There is no need for an explanation to the reply.....

I WILL give the poster one point.

He mentioned that specials are supposed to be "specials". Which of course, they arn't now. You can't handle 1/4 what you can just auto attacking, so of course people are going to use specials as much as they can. I have no idea for a fix for this, or even IF it needs a fix, beyond maybe cranking up all weapon damage and then slightly cranking up ham costs, maybe. Then there'd be decision time between "should I" spam Strafe2, instead of "should I" sell this Rancor meat for 5 or 7 cpu....

a crate of moun- 6000 credits

a crate of angerian fishank- another 6000 credits

a few bottles of brandy from your brother- a family discount of 6000 credits

a full set of buffs- yet another 6000 credits

having a dctor on the same time as you are so you can get buffs....... priceless

some thingthe devs cant fix... but for everything else there's the nerf

all I know is that I don't know
all I know is that I don't know nothin'

I'm still going through Moun Gold withdrawl

After the combat rebalance everything will change. Every normal player will be given a 4th unbuffable HAM bar that specials will drain from, similar to a Jedi's Force Bar. This will mean that you cant just sit there and spam Advanced Strafe constantly for hours on end, or any other specials for that matter. That will eliminate this problem.

Im sorry this is the dumbest idea of them all. Im not coming against you but against the Idea. If there is a "force" bar.....or "specials" bar. Then Buffing will still be prominent and the specials limited meaning......

Noone will ever be able to Chop down a BUFFED HAM as it will regen faster than the special bar. IF you make the regen of the "specials" bar regen fast enough to keep up with a buffed opponent, then Whats the point in implementing it?? You are back to the same place you started with more bars to look at.
