Thread: Has Anyone Noticed How We Get Silent Nerfs???

Seemingly Bloodfin is the only server ever to have Kinetic Tuskens and Heat E11 Rifles... because I've been playing since week 2, and since I originally wrote the post I thought I would hear some agreement on this...



I made a krayt ar2 Heat e11 Rifle, I actually had a couple made... IT GOT NERFED... and before anymore debates on whether E11 rifle was heat or not, IT WAS at one time heat... WHEN the nerf hit I don't know... I don't know when, but over night I lost its ability and when I checked it last week It was ENERGY. It was kind of likethe same way I thankfully gained AR3 to my t21, when it was AR0... For those of you who weren't there then, sorry, you missed out on the few days riflemen were able to take down at-st's relatively fast when machines could bleed...


The tusken was nerfed from KINETIC to energy about the time t21's gained armor piercing... the reason I know this you ask? I was hunting Nightsister Elders and popping them in the head with hs2 and hs1. They areonly vulnerable to KINETIC and BLAST. Then the next day I wasn't doing anydamage, low and behold my gun had changed form KINETIC to ENERGY, just like my t21's changed form AR0 to AR3...For those of you who don't remember this, I'm sorry, you missed out on another great thing WE HAD...


If all you guys can do is complain about how spray sticks should be acid, which I never saw, and I have been using spray sticks alway up to Master Riflemen, and how the t21 sucks... I really wonder if the dev's will ever pay attention to our posts...



All I want is the damage variety back... Kinetic, Heat, Stun, Cold, Energy... we were pretty well rounded... now, well, to say the least, we have either like most of you put it, the T21 or the Laser...



Sorry if I seem bitter but in all the other threads everyone was constructive on criticism and on this one everyone seemed baffled about this... I guess I've been playing this game too long, I should pack up my prenerf t21's and stop dreaming about the good old days of carrying 4 or 5 different TYPES of rifles around to fight bad guys... and exploit their weaknesses...


I guess if I want variety I'll have to go pistol...

About the Tusken Rifle being fixed to Kinetic damage possibly bringing about the 2.5x damage modifier:


Won't happen. Strike pistols have done kinetic forever, and they don't get the 2.5x. Powerhammers (from heavy sword) have done blast forever, and they do get the bonus. When Heavy Weapons' damage methods were bugged to melee, the flame thrower (heat) and LLC (electricity) both were getting the 2.5x.


So whatever code is in place to allow only melee attacks to get the 2.5x damage modifier, is working.



On a personal note, wouldn't that be nice! One shotting BHs and Commandoes from rangefor more than a month like they were doing to us.


I mean, umm..., that'd be terrible. *cough*

Yeah!



Another old foggy like me who remembers the good ol'days when we had Kinetic Tuskens, hopefully someone else remembers E11 Rifles as heat...


I want these back, I'm tired of having to rely on 1 gun, b/c as much as everyone praises the laser, it sucks if your life depends on each shot... I love being shafted by a 100 dmg head shot 3...
