Thread: How the ^%@# can the BH LLC receive such a huge damage overhaul after they decided to nerf the T21?
friendly dueling with my friend thats a BH with a brand spanking new post patch LLC.....incapped me at 60+ meters 5 times in a row....
range dont matter, just like pistols. Whos the real SNIPER here, sure as hellll isnt us. When a BH or commando can one shot incappus at 60+ meters.

I don't know if this was a fluke/bug weapon or not, but I just saw the most amazing weapon I could ever imagine on a weapon vendor... for only 10k. It was a "laser cannon" and the stats on it were: Min Damage 1211 Max Damage 2729 reload rate 6.4 with an ideal range at 32m +24... AR: light (which seems odd- you'd think something this strong would have higher AR). If anyone wants to see this weapon for themself, the weaponsmith coords are -3776 2696, Tatooine, Chilastra server.
Talk about putting the T-21 to shame...
But that gun has charges. Though that is some insanse damage.
Bump.
Holo, could you please explain to us whyour T21's werecastrated and now this?
I am a pretty patient person, I can take most things in stride.
These latest changes have me seriously thinking about dropping this game.
It is clear the devs have no idea about class or play balance.
I have zero faith in them to fix the problems with the rifleman class, or to provide any sort of balance in comparison to other classes.

I am really losing hope and I never thought I would say this...
Off topic, but the "It's so hard to become a Bounty Hunter" arguement kills me everytime. Currently I'm a Rifleman/Ranger which means yes, I mastered scouting..this took no time at all. Mastering Marksman..let me do the math, if a Rifleman can get to Novice Rifle in an hour as he said then it's logical to assume it'd only take an aspiring Bounty Hunter only 4 hours to reach Master Marksman..and don't play the it's so hard to get Apprenticeship XP card, that's a joke as well, apprenticeship xp is one of the easiest things to come by in this game..get a few friends they can help you by surrendering and letting you retrain skills, best ones to surrender and retrain..Exploration I or Hunting I..scouting xp is a joke now it's so easy to get, an hour or so on Dathomir and you'd have enough apprenticeship xp for 3 masteries. Don't have a clue what I'm talking about? My banked apprenticeship XP for both Master Ranger and Master Rifleman says differently..and the 100K+ xp I make a night on Dathomir screams it. Go trying playing the "it's so hard to become a bounty hunter" card to people that don't have a clue.
Sorry..continue argument, it just drives me crazy every time I see that.
Sietzer, did you even bother to read my reply post? I covered the subject of speed mods in there... As it is, a master rifleman will have +90 or +95 speed mod and a BH with LLC4 will have +60 but once speed mods tapes are fixed, you can be 100% sure that everyone will gradually have +100 speed mod on their weapon on choice through the use of 1-4 attachments. And yes, I've already seen some tapes with +25 heavy weapon speed.
Also, NO you do NOT get the rifleman x2.5 melee damage penalty. It has been tested by several BH already. And don't go around calling people noobs when you don't even have the facts straight about posture and damage sustained. As it is, posture only gives an accuracy modto the attacker, NOT a damage mod. The only reason why riflemen are hit x2.5 harder in melee is because of the rifle they are holding, it has nothing to do with the posture, the posture only makes it easier for the melee attacker to successfully connect.
I know how you feel, I hit master marksman just cause I was considering commando for all my leftover skill points, and I have almost 3/0/3/3 scout from not trying to harvest scout xp, I only camp when I'm solo'ing since other people I play with want the xp...or have the ones that put my house to shame strapped to their back, so the whole BH's deserve the best of everything cause look at all they had to do just makes me laugh at the simpletons. Anyone can master scout on a whim, the only hard part would be grinding traps and if a BH brings that up just point to a crafter and laugh some more.

Oh I forgot to mention something that will put this into perspective. I have nearly 3/0/3/3 scout (like 1k away on camping, and just dont want to waste the skill points for hunting 3) while I am only a master marksman, unarmed spec, underworld 1, 50k away from dirty fighting 1, and a 1/0/0/1 rifleman. So I am that close to master scout simply by killing alot of animals, most of which a BH has to kill anyway. After all my unarmed spec doesnt give me that much scouting xp, using my pistol to get 2 smuggler skills didn't take me that long, actually I got almost all of my dirty fighting 1 xp grinding FP's and promotions. Plus I only spent a semi long time on dathomir and Lok, and I let alot of others take the hide since they were aspiring BH's or rangers...oh and for the "we dont have any skill points give us a break" guess what I"m gonna spend all my points too. And yes even though they will be on a variety of different proffesions what does it matter when yours can incapacitate me from 60+ meters away with 1 shot? Wow me having master medic so I can heal people while grouping really helped me out there didnt. Or me having TKA will show you whats what, after all you get a whole -3 accuracy mod when I get close to you.
And if you search around here a MASTER rifleman can still miss alot of times so don't bitch about missing to us...its just moot
I've been a master rifleman since the end of june and havent cared to get involved in the mess of profession boards.
...until now.
Honestly why would anyone want to chose rifleman over BH. As is BH pistol and carb are good, yes LLC was lacking but this is a joke.
Anyone who has PvE a rifleman knows its pointless to target mind in a group MAYBE solo but then you are using your status shots and warning shot, only time is PvP to keep them incaped. So that throws the targetable stat pools. Plus when you can one shot 1 or all stat pools you dont have to worry about targetting.
2.5 melee damage taken holding a rifle while others who hold a cannon or rocket launcher dont just baffles me and now the seriously out damage us.
AR apponents. When I was doing XP I didnt go looking for the mobs with the highest AR, I'd look for easier kills(giant baz nitches then) So what advantage would that play since why anyone in their right mind XP off tough armor/resist mobs. Only saving grace is vs AT-STs.
I thought one shot kills were out with the 75% damage reduction....guess I was wrong.
Speed issue is mute since power-ups fix that, SEAs fix that and the ability to one shot fix that.
I will say at master rifleman using a t21 I dont see the whole miss rating everyone mentions but that could be that im a master SL using rally all the time.
The HAM issue is HUGE! Rifleman have mind drain while BH have health/action...I dont think I have to elaborate on this point.
Well I've said enough and will move on back to my sever board.
