ummmmm, I have a custom made T21, and two other really nice (max damage in mid 600's) T21s hanging on my wall, I plan on taking those down when my current T21 wares out.I carry a crate of +421, 20+ usesbrandy and crate of muon gold on my to enhance my mind so don't tell me what I do and what I don't do.


Like I said before, I don't PvP much, I enjoy RP and helping out other people in game. I go out hunting and sell hide and bones for money. Not everyone PvP and people have different style of playing games. I am not like one of those 'power gamers' who grind a profession in 3 days, drop it and move on to the next profession.


If you like PvP and GCW and all those goodies, be my guest, but there are a lot of us who don't do play that style.

The most powerful pvp templates in the game are master rifle/tk and master rifle/combat medic.



Rifleman/TKA? Maybe 2 months ago but not anymore.

Hey what the heck is going on here? Will all be flaming at professions which can do stun damage? This is sick! When they nerf rifleman(and let us hope they dont)all the ppl will move to flame Fencer for example which is also a kinda God in PVP with it's Stun Baton. Instead of nerfing Rifleman (and others in the future) i suggest that armor should have resistance to all types of damage to prevent fruther "nerfing". Like many other ppl said in this thread earlier WE ARE RIFLEMAN NOT SNIPERS if u want to do Speed Cap? ok lets say 1,5 or 2 sec with no damage changed, if u want to do 3 sec cap - raise our damage!

A rifleman took out a master commando.. thats not really saying much.


NERF RIFLEMAN! Or at least nerf the Jawa. And dont tell me go buy a stun resist helmet. At best you can get one for 40% resists. And all the muon/brandy/canape does no good against you guys spamming your head shots with that jawa.


ok ok, maybe nerfing rifleman is a bit harsh. I hate calling for nerfs, but sometimes they need to be done. I like the idea of getting rid of the mind as a target. that could handle the problem with those pesky CM too.

I really wish people would stop talking about 3 second speed caps. That would be game breaking. All those SEA's would be useless, master marksman would be useless (including overcharge2) and master rifleman would be useless. Rifles would be a purely dabbler profession to the defences, the way fencer is now. PvP would be finished for a rifleman (2/3 shots in 10 seconds means death) and PvE would be group hunting Durni. I am NOT gonna spend 92 skill points so I can lay prone at 64m and get one shot off while a Tk comes up and dizzy/KD's me.


Absolutely rediculous idea.


And to answer the first post, no we aren't uber. Players who stack the right templates are uber.


To answer MrFunSocks, this guy is talking about playing Rifleman properly (which it sounds like he does), you are talking about being an uber player. Any proffession in this game should be functional enough that its still useful without buffs, drink, food, spices and armour. A master rifleman (or any combat profession) should be able to lift his rifle and go kill something. We can't do that (unless you stay on a newb planet and hang around the starport).

I finally made rifleman a few days ago and started to duel people for fun. First, I am not able to fire my specials at cap speed, most of my shots fires at 2~3 sec. with a 7.8 speed T21, which is normal for a high power T21. Get with the program! Do not use your T21 for PvP. Use your Jawa rifle against Composite Armor Wearers, and use a nice Laser Rifle or DXR-6B against Wookies. Next, get your speed up there! 90 is good, but if you get another 5 points (through marksman or SEAs) you'll notice a WORLD of difference. For max speed with your 8.0+speed rifles, kick your bonus up 97, which is the functional cap unless you have a 14 speed Tusken King Rifle like I do.


Keep drinking brandy, but don't rely on muon too much--downers put you in a very vulnerable state. Vagnerian Canape is your friend! If you get knocked down and dizzied, there are a few ways around this. One of them is possibly an exploit, so I won't discuss it. Let's just say hit the stand button slowly. If you double tap it, you'll fall down again.


Concerning ranged and melee defense, the answer is obvious. How do you want to fight? If you prefer to go PvP on your own (you shouldn't unless you like getting ganged up on), then you should invest in Fencer. If you PvP with friends, you can keep your distance most of the time, so focus on Ranged Defense in whatever way you see fit.


Below you'll see my template, and I managed to survive an attack from a BH and a Master Rifleman/CM. I ran to water so the torso shot would be nullified, kept myself healed,and I kept my distance, waiting for them to get into the water, when I attacked them until they retreated.
