can master any combat prof in 2-3 days

Um. . how is this possible?

It's called not enjoyingthe game

its called getting the crap outta the way so that you CAN enjoy the game. playing novice anything sucks, only fun once your a master so grind it as fast as you can and get done grinding to do the fun stuff. melee is way easier to lvl than ranged profs thou, just spinattack the lair and your done in like 5min, 70k in the bag.

That would work and make grinding up the Rifle Exp a hella of a lot easier.

The first time I did Rifleman, I mastered in 7 buff sessions which was about 19 hours total time. Did that over the course of 9 days. I'm about to Master again on another character of mine, and I'm looking at about 20 hours total grinding time as well. It would probablyhavegonemuch faster if I had used FlushingShot2 instead of Headshot3. *sigh* Oh well.

Took me from launch to November. I played the game. I am very proud of that.

YOU 3-dayers should be ashamed at yourselves for cheapening a once honorable profession. I could probably make that statement on all the professions, to be honest. You go beyond "power-gaming" to "power-whore" with those statements.

Now now, I only re-mastered in that time, it took me ages to Master originally.

And I don't quite see how I " go beyond "power-gaming" to "power-whore" " really either, I agree it shouldn't be easy to Master any profession so easily, but it's not hard to Master it in no time at all without being a "power-whore" or a power-gamer.

Agree With Fred......

And the Best PVP Template is(So people don't have to keep searching)-

Master Fencer Doc 4-0-4-0 TKA 4-3-0-0(Now you could go 4-0-0-3 for Ranged + Melee defence, But COB really takes care of that and the Posture Change Defence is just so useful)- Nasty little Template, I believe it is even greater then the J3d-3y3

Oh and it took me from Release until November to Master Rifleman

From Novice to Master I took me about 5 months, of course I took up artisan professions and explored a bit too. If I had to master it again, it would probably take me about a week or two due to the time I have avaliable to play.

I started playing late Feb/early March and just reached masteraround mid-July, so 4-4.5 months I guess.

Guess to some that makes me a slacker or whatever, but I'm pretty sure I had a hell of a lot more fun that I would have if I had just watched the xp bar and tried to grind it out in a weekend.

It took me about 2 weeks to master rifleman, but it was my 32nd profession, with 31 (carbines) mastered 6 hours before Publish 9 went live

I was a bit depressed - it was hard to motivate myself to even log on much less grind another profession

Buffs, Armor, a good T21 and headshotting the Graul missions from a solo group on Dantooine - took maybe 8 buff cycles with 60-75k xp per mission

Also, get the combat xp with another profession - you really need the speed with the T21

I really should be dropping it to build my defense-stacked template for my soon to be FS toon in preparation for Publish 10, but that'lltake me maybe 4 days

And you know what? Rifleman kicks ass! This is hands down the best combat profession I have played in SWG. The damage, the weapons, the specials - everything rocks about this profession.

I got scanned and overted in Espa today (after some tools decided to train and feign an Observer on me because they couldn't kill steal my mobs) and it took me a long time to get killed by the stormies because even with just auto-attack, they died before they could incap me - and I wasn'twearing any armor! I even drained my health and mind by spamming specials, and it still took 4 imps to finally kill me. Got some much needed loot kit parts, too

After months of hardcore grinding, I'm so glad I unlocked on Rifleman. And in the months ahead of hardcore jedi grinding and BH griefing, I'll always remember the six weeks I got to be a master rifleman as the most fun I've had in this game
