I would like to suggest (being close to master riflemen), that they adjust the eyeshot penalty so that it requires Mind pool pts to use.. this would bring it more in line with what we experience. Let the eyeshot require the same pool with the same pts that we riflemen use with mindshot this would at least start to even the playing field..

Oh and as an after though.. how about we limit the range of the pistol to 30m and carbines to 45 meters..I wonder if we would start seeing the Nerf outcry from the other classes?

Pistoleer, caribineer, and rifleman, are not the BEST at that particular weapon, its a shortcut for you if you want to use that weapon

Remind me never to get driving directions from Hip. I'll end up taking one of your 'shortcuts' and end up driving 2.9x farther to get to my destination, and still be 2 miles away from where I'm trying to go.

As a Master Rifleman you only spend 92 skill points for the privledge. How good do you expect to be?

Pretty darn good. Look at it this way, a master pistoleer spends 'only' 92 points on pistol, but an expert bh spends only 28 points on pistol. 28 POINTS!!! BH only has to get 1/3 of the pistol xp that a master pistoleer needs, and is far superior!

You spend 28 points on pistol, 28 points on carbine, 14 points on rifle, 14 points on heavy weapons, 14 points on ranged support, 14 points on investigation, and then the 56 points on scouting skills. 51 points are eaten by master and novice titles.

This argument does not hold water. How can you complain about lack of flexibility when you are proficient in 4 different weapons and scouting!? How is that NOT flexible?

Once again, there's the indication that number of skill points equates to difficulty. Crap. Absolute crap. The only 'difficult' thing about BH is raising investigation. I put 'difficult' in quotes because it is not hard, just more time consuming. Anyone who takes the time to master marksman and has scouting ability will find that they finish off scouting first, with the common exception to the wilderness survival line. The fact of the matter is, if you harvest every mob you kill while practicing your marksmanship, you will be done with scout xp before you are done with your second weapon tree.

So, now that you have novice bh (still on the difficulty argument) it must be very very hard to get master, right? Wrong. I've seen bh's start and finish the LLC line in a matter of hours. The only one any of them complain about is carbine. Laughable. Oh my! A bh has to spend some time to level up in 1 of their trees? Heaven forbid it should take more than several hours to finish off! (/sarcasm)

I'll leave you with one last thought...

''If it was easy, then everyone would be doing it.'' <---a classic quote. BH IS easy, and you can see that it is, because everyone IS doing it!!

There are two ideas here.

The first is that BH spend so many points to get there, they should be the best. At everything combat-related.

The second is that Rifleman/Pistloeer/Carbineer spends much less points, but all of those points are spent mastering only one weapon. So while he should be better than the BH with that one weapon, the BH enjoys tremendous flexibility because he can use them all with phenomenal skill. So a Rifleman should be 100% with rifle, ONLY, while BH is 75% with Rifle, Carbine, and Pistol.

Both arguments are logical, so this argument won't end But I tend to agree with #2. While they both make sense, this is a game that has numerous combat classes, all of which need to be the best at *something.* Nobody likes (or wants) to be #2 at absolutely everything they've trained in. I agree with option #2 because it makes for a better game.

Rifleman should be better at inflicting mind damagethan aBH, but the BHshould stillusually get the win when the two meet, because that's what BH's do.Inpvp, the BH is supposed to come out with the most wins. But the Rifleman should be better at inflicting mind damage. Now both sides are satisfied ~J

I swear, Aldeon smokes so much crack it isn't even funny. I've been PvPing since i started this game and i can vouch for the fact that the ONLY way to kill a bounty hunter is to bleed him with a pre-patch T-21 then burst run.
