Damn, I was so tired I screwed up big time on that paragraph. Seeing as I do not have the ability to edit... here it is with corrections...
All that is true my good friend... if youwould notice, that is why I threw in all the double time modifiers. That is assuming you miss half the timeevery session. That leads to the misses being covered intime setup. I alsounderstand your healing times, but I use 80%+ armor (Every Piece). I was trying to prove efficiency. As master smuggler I slice all my goods.... so with MODERN equipment it is easy to achieve this. The variable you brought up was taken into account in my equations by doubling and sometimes tripling to give leeway.

I would agree that if you could persuade a master doc/rifleman to come along with you for the entire grind it would speed up the process no end, this is true for any prof, you got someone with you 24/7 to train you when you need it,all the resources you need for crafting, all the buffs and weapons and armour you need for combat levelling all of the time, you can do it all in no time at all. And most of the people who have had only swg to play for 2-3 months andthe aboveluxury throughout their prof grinding are playing with their jedi now. I just think it's wrong to mislead the average player who maybe logs on 3 or 4 times a week for a 3-5 hours in their evening that they could stay up for 24 hours and master a lengthy proffesion. As many players will be relying on low grade equipment if they dont have millions of credits, groups to level, and the spamming of "need to learn x skill" over and over to get teached.
If you did it the easiest way with all the help you needed, good for you!!! Just don't try and mislead others into thinking its THAT easy. For many it isnt.

other than that if you are rebel, i did get alot of exp at the battlefield at corellia killing stormtroopers, since they keep respawning and they nearly always fight from range they die fast and give decent exp + i got a couple of ranks out of it as welljust watch out for that atst.
This was the best place for me as well, if you are a rebel, I'd definitely suggest it. When I mastered rifleman for the second time, I did it 100% at this base. It took me about 5 full buff sessions of 4 hours each.
I have to agree with Mangiacapra in saying that basically it depends on what resources you have available to you. My alt is a Master Weaponsmith, so I have all the best weapons available as I need them. My husband's character is a Master Doc (as well as a few guild members), so I just haveone of thembuff me, I have plenty of high end composite available to me as well. This base on my server has an awesome rebel city 800M away with a rifleman trainer, shuttleport, everything I could need. I can't say you could compare how long it took me to other's with less available to them.

Heres a question based on the ideas laid out here. Ive kind of tried these methods in various ways, and Im having a problem with one thing. When I attack a stalker for instance, i get swarmed by the rest of them. So when I attack the lair using flushing 2, I got jumped by a ton of stalkers, then a few run back to the lair etc. etc., but ultimately I get beat to **edit**. So I use my composite armor with 80 kinetic protection and doc buffs to keep from getting slaughtered. However, on my server mind buffs are tough to come by and its a pain in the ass to have to run back and forth every hour or so (mind buffs are pretty short) to get a new one. Thus my mind goes VERY quickly with armor on, and even with 2 brandies in me with +401 mind to each, I still find myself getting low. Am I doing something wrong? This method hasnt seemed as golden for me as it has others. I am going to try the alternating between two lairs method today though and see how that works.I only need 2 boxes to get to master rifleman, and for me the rifle profession has been LONG. I started this game at its very inception, and chose rifleman as my profession from day one. I played about 2 months then quit for about 8. Just came back about a month or so ago. So for me, the rifle profession has taken me nearly 3 months, lol. But the first two were done without buffs and the current knowledge we have.

4160, -1334. Closest starport is Coronet, I think it's about 4500 away from there.

I got one of those. It's a Probot with 3500 HAM and autoheals every couple of seconds. It lasts as long as the battery holds out and can hold off aggro'd mobs for a good period of time. It even lasted more than a minute against a Giant Krayt, until it noticed it, then it was gone, lol!
If you are on Wanderhome, I'll give you a rifleman's discount when I can start making these. Just mention this post.

Canape, get some canape. It increases mind regeneration. You'll need a crate or two as it only has a duration of approximately 10 minutes. With Canape and a single brandy my mind pool never decreases, even when I'm wielding VK's and spamming spin2.
