3.89 mil rifle xp in 24 hours,

1440 minutes, assuming you somehow managed to get 8 consecutive buffs and had not one single agro throughout.

Say the average kill xp if you kill entirely with rifle is around the 4k mark, then you would need almost 973 kills to achieve master rifleman. Bearing in mind that you can't use a T21 till novice rifleman and a dxr till countersnipe 2.

Even if you manage to average 3 minutes per kill because they amazingly keep spawning within 100m of you non stop, this would still take you 48 hours of non stop shooting to achieve the required xp.

24 hrs my a**e.

LOL! I Hate when people brag about how quick it is to master rifleman. It took me 4 weeks of hunting 4 or 5 hours a day on weekdays and like 12 hours a day on weekends to master it. It was one of my greatest acheivements ingame because I had originally started rifleman back in december but got discouraged very early on and quit because of the points required. BY people bragging about how "simple" it is, it just cheapens it. Thanks for proving this person wrong. He's probaly not even a rifleman. Maybe he's a lurker..lol

I hunted gaping recluse spiders on dathimor, 4500 xp per kill and a lair will spawn a bunch of em.

I think anybody who says they could grind it in less than 36 hrs is a liar.

This is hilarious...everyone seems to think that since someone figured out how to accomplish a profession rather quickly that they are making it up. Most of you that have flamed these techniques seem to have taken a long time to master it. From what I have noticed as well... most of you probably have been rifleman/woman for a long time. With that said it is understandable that it took you a long time. The first time I went up rifleman it took me two weeks because I didn't know what I was doing. And before that it took me FIVE MONTHS to become a Master Doctor/Master Combat Medic. Think about it people... in the current state of the game you can grind millions of credits in several hours... you can get a suit of armor that PREVENTS 90% of damage. Grinding with that type of power is not that hard.

I have nothing against any of you... but it seems that too many people have become self righteous and find themselves putting others down because they themselves did not accomplish it. When I finished in that short period of time.. I was astonished. Then I began trying to let other people know so that they could finish up their grinding. I did not sit here on the boards and mock others because they did not see what I did. I am not sitting here "look at me... I finished 100x faster than all of you." I was here trying to help a fellow rifleman with what I had experienced. Maybe if less of us considered our tactics to be the only ones... our whole community could work together instead of talking trash about each other. But that would be too much to ask for I suppose...

Keep it up SilverStarz, and I hope that what these people have added is helping you accomplish what you want. Take care of yourself and whoop some major...

personal im with all the other rifleman as i picked it as my first prof (what a bad idea) it took me ages low cash flow and problem at times no weapons and had little to no clue of the full power of rifleman till the end now i can do naff without trying.

took me good 2 weeks id say but i didnt hunt like made and only had half of ubese (didnt know about glove boot chestplate and helmet covered u from all mobs in game).

best advice i would give get a good fast laser rifle either buy it speed sliced or hope for it (no need to hope 6 weapon and still speed sliced all) get speed power up and start killing best way is to get a tank or get in group (20% exp increase i hear dont know if its true) get counter sniping 3 with this u also get dxr-6b then go up the sniping tree while u do those get the combat. conceal tree was a waste in my opining surprise shot and concealshot r pointless nearly npc see it and half the tough mobs run at u anyway

Actually.. i have not mastered Rifleman and only decided a couple of days back to do it, I have some of the best Armour on the server and GOOD weapons too.. Going on advice from a lot of Master Rifleman and my own experiences in the game on gathering XP (with exception of TKA) It's impossible to get the required 3.4mil Rileman XP in 24hrs (Even if you did play non-stop).

Its true no-one wants to hear do this do that you can do it in an unrealistic amount of time. Most average/normal players want to know where the best place to xp is, what to kill, tips on how to do it. Time to master each prof is : efficiencyX time you canspend gaining xp, this is a personal thing for each player and it's unhelpful if someone brags hey you can do this in 5 minutes, chances are they have some sort of life and can't sit there for 24hrs straight.

So why not limit tips for grinding profs to ACTUAL TIPS and HELP rather than boasting about how fast you did it? No-one is interested in how fast and uber you are at prof grinding..............

Seeing as the boards ate my informative post about the numbers... I will just plop down the last half. This is not to say that I am the best grinder in the world... nor is it to say you have to master it in this amount of time. This is to show the efficiency that can be achieved to master it. What was lost is that the travel to novice rifleman at most should take 3 hours with a good suit of armor and head shotting quenkers until you get point blank area. Then it continues...

We are sitting at novice rifleman in 3 hours. That is including the fact that there is a trainer and tank with you. Now the fun begins... you get to have more fun with the T21.

The point blank (assuming the 1.5x mod which I don't see, but am using to show even if it were slower it is possible) with the T21 would fire every3.5seconds.

Actual Spd: 3.5 seconds

Dmg. 216 + 409 = 625 / 2 = 312 x 1.5 = 468 Stalkers haveno AP I believe so you get the fun of using the 1.25 multiplier3 times. The reason this applies is because they still have ENERGY resists... which makes the AP come into effect even though it does not say AP.

914 Dmg / 3.5 second shots...

261 DPS

Lets follow the previous example and just assume you do nothing but this and never gain speed again...

60 x 261 = 15660 damage per minute... / 3 pools... 5220 Kill in one minute... but lets assume you miss two minutes. once again minimum 27k a mission. By using the bounce technique you can do two sets of six hurtons per lair before it goes away... that is four minutes to clear 52k... then add ten minutes travel time between lairs.. that is 104k within 20 minutes... multiply that by 3 and you got 312k an hour.

From novice you need about 3.7 million xp of rifles....

Lets see how many hours 312k need to hit 3.7 mil...

3.7 mil / 312k = 12 lovely hours.... lets assume you even go back for buffs and everything.. add 2 hours to that.

Now... that leaves us with:

3 hours for novice...

12 hours for all rifles xp...

2 hours just because...

17 hours... TOTAL

I remind you again though... this is assuming you gain NO SPEED when you go up in rifles... just novice rifleman speed. If you have any questions about the math I used, or can pinpoint where I messed up so I can correct it.. please let me know. Hope this helps everyone else out as much as it helped me. I love you guys!!!!

And this is not to say that I did it the fastest, nor is it to say I am the only one that can do it. Love yas!!

noivce rifleman can shot a t21 that fast wow damn wise i did i had trouble shotting a laser rifle with good speed slice that fast when i was low level but maybe i didnt count or check often enough. u also miss and they can dodge as well so ur dpm would drop a bit. and at noivce rifleman i missed a lot with a t21 -70ish at pb ull be lucky to shot even with pbarea. maths is all good it always right if the data inputed is correct like a computer its never wrong just "garbage in garbage out". i love math my best subject infact.

one other thing if u not doing well and to many have spawned u could die this will set u back more and if u heal that another 2-3 second gone. all is correct but u got to mainy varaibles to use true maths but id say it is possible in 24hours of game play (not a day just 24hour of playing) most people like to go hunting bigger thing i cant bored of the same old huurton or quenkers even pickets.

All that is true my good friend... if you notice that is why I throw in all the double time modifiers. That is assuming you miss half the time ALL the time. Thusly counteracting that feisty misses. And I understand your heal, but I uses 80%+ armor on every piece. I was trying to prove efficiency. As master smuggler I slice all my goods.... so with MODERN equipment it is easy to achieve this. The variable you brought up were taken into account in my equations by doubling and sometimes tripling to give leeway.
