OK well my first encounter was ok , I killed 3 all totaled but the changes to the ai mobs is noticable, the krayt peeled off my maulers and came at me 3 times. The devs said there would bechanges the ai to recognize that the ch was attacking them as well as the pets and they obviously did, cloned once incapped twice but i did manage to kill 3 so im happy, didnt get anything from loot other than 1 pearlbut thats ok I wanted the challenge of being able to do it. Going back tonight, I have a feeling the regular canyon krayt and teh juvi will be easier than the anchients i killed.

Blah solo this, blah pets that....i dont care what anyone thinks. I'm out there in the graveyard for one thing...to kill krayts, collect the loot and get paid. Sure I could conceal all night long and its a "challenge" but thats not what i'm out there to do. I use one mauler, stack mindshot 1 and mindshot 2, peace sit back and watch them die. Check ur combat window to see what the bleed damage is....if you got a bad role, just re-fire till u see some numbers u like. I've been able to stack 1200 mindshot 1 on top of a 2000-3000 mindshot 2 bleed and I just watch the blue tick away. If the grauler does go down I just make sure im about 100m away from the krayt cuz they will come after u when a bleed ticks off and the dragon isnt focused on your pet.

Even better scenario......send in pet to attack krayt. While its busy tap the lair once to bring another one out. If ur lucky the new one will aggro the other one and you can bleed them both safely at the same time.....u can even sometimes manage to call ur pet back to u without bringing the dragons with it.

Bottom line is im out there for tissue, scales and pearls so I can make a fortune. You don't see weaponsmiths making the best weaps for the challenge....they just want to get paid like everyone else. Obviously this is all just my opinion.

Sounds to me that using conseal shot you are in no more danger than when you use a pet. So is that not soloing?

I solo Krayts, not using conceal shot, and only using a baby cupa. I'm not a CH, and I know the trick. I've been doing this for a couple weeks, before the patch. It's not an exploit. Let's just say those are some stupid krayts.

So, I guess you can say it's using a pet, but not as a tank. And no, I'm not bleeding them and running away.

I have a trick too that fits that description. No pet at all for me though. Shoot one and they begin to fight each other. Now just hammer away as they kill each other

Settbacca can you tell me how to check on the stacked mindbleeds in combat window, I have never seen this .
