Personally, I think the way rifleman works is the way everyone should work. Very strong benefit for getting master while still having some good (but not great) skills farther down, relatively hard to work up the tree (compared to some), lot's of strengths balanced by appropriate weaknesses/limitations. Very powerful in some situations, but those weaknessessupply the 'rock' to our 'scissors'.
Every class should be built like ours....
I agree for the most part. I would like to see another rifle or two mixed in with certs handed out in the middle of the tree, and with the T21 cert near master (with T21 at pre-nerf levels).

But does any elite combat profession (Except Commando)have a weapon cert above novice?
"Just like in RL a sniper doesn't sit there and shoot all day long from the same spot he pops 1-2 shots off and moves."
Usually only in the movies. Snipers typically only have one target to kill anyway or they sit there and pick people off secure in the fact that they will kill anyone before anyone can kill them. Or they are like Carlos Hathcock, aka Long Tra'ang, and strike such fear in the enemy that he pins a platoon down and kills all 250 of them in a 24 hour period.
and Hathcock didn't shoot the VC in their artertieswhile running away and hoping they bleed to death before they got to him. He took them one one by one, one shot per kill, while staying in concealment.
If you tried that in SWG you'd just get immediately shot in the eye 3 times in 3 seconds by a guy holding a pistol...
