I do a lot of pvp in coronet, and anchorhead.
TRust me LukeC is right, Master riflemen is scary. I've gone up against commando's, master bounty hunters. And all have gone down (sure i've been killed my share of times, but my kills far outweigh my deaths).
I've been knocked down, and set on fire before by people, and still managed to kill them.
The way I do it is, ms1/ms2 (reason for this is, I can get these off in about 1.5 seconds, and most people when they see a mind bleed seem to lose all sense of tactics), followed by a hail of hs3's (usually 2-3 will do it I use muon gold before fights so i'm not worried about my mind).
If you see a commando/tka/pikemen/fencer running towards you, run. Don't stand there. you will go down. running is not cowardice (as most of them think) it's called tactics. Cause when you stop to to /yell or /tell amon'tdow your a coward, by the time you hit enter, your dead.
Master riflemen is very powerful.
Also, switch guns to what your fighting.
Someone comes at you with full composite on with 80% resists, switch to the jawa and tear him a new %#$. Strafeshot2 and a jawa I've hit people for 800dmg before. They wonder wth just happened. Most people put on armor and assume I'm invincible.
Second, Yes I use a pet. my main reson for pet is, distracts players. since most people run around with a gurreck, or a mauler, etc. I sick my pet on your pet, so we can fight. If you have no pet, I'm usually 50/50 on what I do, sometimes i'll just do my normal attack, or i'll send my pet to distract you.
Sure call me weak, whatever. I've master riflemen and ch because those are the 2 professions I wanted to play since i bought the game.
But I digress... Master riflemen is scary. And yes, it sucks hardcore at lower levels.
