Its very hard to solo elders or krayts without gettin kill stealing. Most times you will need a tank, swords/doc will do the job allowing you to pummel away with your T21. FOTY with rifles has to be rifle/doc because its so durable. However......you can solo almost all ns's if you have kinetic dmg melee as your other prof, this can be tkm or swords etc. My template was a mix of PVE and PVP and faired well in both.
