I believe that Pikeman are ineffective against the NS NPC that drops the looted item they need for one of their weapons.

TKA's only have one damage types, and AP1. So will be at a disadvantage against any MOB with heavy armor and high Kinetic resists.

like i said, "where"? lol

proves my point even further - if they fix our berserker rifle, then we have yet another reason NOT to complain about dmg types.

They may be disadvantaged, or even ineffective to the sisters, but they're not helpless as they both have KD attacks that can be used to dis-engage.

Let's put it this way. When your cruising across Dath on your bike, and a happen to pass over a Spellweaver who trashes it, what do you do? I do the only thing I can... /burstrun /pray and usually... /clone

If the Devs want to say the Tusken Rifle was not kinetic they can do themselves a quick favor and hit the database and change the King Tusken Rifle from the Darklighter estate quests to energy... because it is kinetic...

And no, I don't think this is worthy of top 5 Rifleman issue... oh yeah! Almost forgot: I mastered Rifleman yesterday morning: TEMPLATE COMPLETE! Master Ranger, Master Rifleman, 0100 Medic.

The NPC is Axkva Min and she is vulnerable to Energy and Blast. Get this- Pikemen cannot kill her to get the Nightsister Energy Lance unless they already have an NSEL(Energy damage, AP1 I believe). So they must have a secondary combat profession, friends, or credits in order to get one.

As far as weapon selection Rifleman really have it made. I'm a TKM/Rifleman and first off, the T21 is the most powerful single weapon in the game. Second, we have an AP1 Stun rifle, and then an AP2 Acid Rifle. Sure our cold and heat (when it gets fixed) rifles are not great, but they are an option.

Sure I would love to see the Rifleman profession get another neat new weapon, and a good Tusken rifle would be cool. But we are not lacking.

And in the end its all about the total template. If we want to do something that requires a different damage type then adjust your template. Personally I'm really happy with this profession.
