as for defense, its less skill pts to pick up the village tree for 1 pt a box and get +20 that way. once i started picking up village trees, i dropped novice medic. in all honesty, if you play this right, you dont really need novice medic. missed it once or twice in pvp when i get hit with a health dot, but in pve, you just stay ranged and occasionally meditate between lairs to regen if you take a few hits.
That mixed with 80% armor and with buffs makes medic not needed. Other than me who still hunts with out buffs or armor?

thx for all replys ppl, basically i want to keep both master tka and master rifle, medic to 2/0/0/0 keeps bleeds out of way, so its what best to do with remaining pts, not enough to get master marksman for rifle speedi do both PvE and PvP, and would like to spend more time loot hunting.
One thought i had, was to drop scout all together, and then spend some on the pistoleer tree. i know it becomes very PvP, but the two main profs should stand up to anything on PvE anyway. would make it:
Master Rifle
Master TKA
Medic 2/0/0/0
Pistoleer 3/0/4/0

I have a very similar template to the construct that you are working with. First off, the first tree of Pistoleer is completely worthless to a Rifleman, so don't even both with it. Fill up the "Techniques" line of Pistoleer so you get the def. Vs. states.
Master Rifle+Master TKA+Pistoleer 0/0/4/0 will leave with 32 spare points to spend. You could get Novice Medic and Novice Scout, and then drop them as needed once you begin Force Sensitivity Training. Even if you're not planning on become a Jedi, I'd still get some of the FS skills. For very few points, you can get some nice bonuses.
IMHO, the def. Vs. states line of Pistoleer is a valuable additionto just about anycombat profession. It helps in both PvP and PvE, so you really can't lose.
