Interesting... I must try this. I stopped using concealshot a long time ago cause the other shots were so much more powerful. Then again, i've never tried going after a krayt by myself before and usually get caught up in the whole "ah! a krayt, everyone attack!" mode...

I think it's safe to say that conceal shot alone is not going to take down a krayt. You'd have to spam conceal a thousand or more times to take one of those down and by then, it'd be on top of ya. Even with my ranger skills I can't avoid em for that long...
actually it has been done many times 13 times by me even...
Ancient was near impossible though 37 attempts - 1 success

Very true. Duely noted. Thanks.

I was only a novice rifleman (with concealment 1) and i used conceal shot to kill an AT-ST..it took about 3 hours, but i felt proud afterwards! I died about three times in process, from when it did agro me...they hit HARD!!!!
But now at master rifleman, conceal shot becomes more of a pulverizer...it softens up your target untill it agros you, then you switch to strafe2 and pound the snot outa your target till its dead

I have tested this conceal shot for myself. It works great. However, it is very time consuming. I would only use it on a Krayt or equally rewarding kill. Also, I am a Rifleman 4102 and if I miss ONE time using conceal shot @ 50M away, they aggro.
I noticed someone mentioning this combo [Strafeshot2, Flushingshot2]. How does this work and what is the typical damage you do with it?
I usually just use Headshot3 for 3000 damage most of the time. [This is the damage I do to Tusken who have about 25%-35% energy protection and from None to Light armor rating with the T21 rifle].

Oh, I've seen that I have surprise shot but I haven't used it because I have to be in cover to use it. How does this work and how effective is it?

suprise shot is worthless right now, it is a posture up attack that you have to use while in cover /cover means suicide right now. Flushing shot 2 is also a posture up shot,, can be used from any positon, and also stun your target.

concealshot works ok, but I am like a few others who posted... I find it takes too long. With rifleman alone you can take out a juvi krayt in about 30 seconds or less using strafeshot2. If it is next to a canyon krayt or giant canyon kryat that you don't want to aggro with the area shots... just use mindshot2 on it once to get a bleed on and then step back and wait for it to come to you. As far as Canyon Krayts, I don't like the looooong time it takes for concealing these either. I prefer just taking some hits and using headshot3 on it. (I don't suggest this method if you aren't a MDoc /rofl)
As far as Elders are concerned... I know a friend who is a rifleman who conceals these all the time. I personally do not have the patience for it. I just grab a swordsman friend or two to tank the thing when I hunt those.

If you use a gun that is under 400damage while conceal shotting you will NEVER get a bleed on your target, ive tested it extensively.

can anyone tell me if i use a triple aim, conceal shot macro will i rarely draw an aggor? atm i get 30-40 shots before i get aggrod then its kite time. so is it really worth it to spend the extra 3 secs to aim then shoot?

never try to macroe a large mob with conceal, that gets you killed real fast.

well you can get away without the /aim but you will draw aggro much sooner then if you do. at master I would not worry about it at anything less then 2XXX I would use the /aim x3 for each tier after in sniping I would drop 1 aim
