Wish I'd read this before my last trip to dantoine cost me my pre-nerf T21. <cries>

Well, getting it repaired at 721/900 and having a failure by an Expert Weaponsmith.

Item decay on incap/death is currently on TC still.

Sliced weapons decay faster. This has been live for a long time.

Powerups causing increased decay - No idea.

Go to the TC forums, and read some of the posts to find out what the DEVs have planned for item decay. Also read the DEV post that asks for player suggestions. If we all voice our opinions strongly enough, maybe we can reach an acceptable agreement. I think they have already said that decay will be going in, but we may still be able to influence how and in what amounts.

No they increased it a whole lot.

It used to take a week before I had to repair, using constand power ups. Always using power ups, when it came off put it back on.

But now every 2-3 shots, 1 decay. If you use powers ups all day long, thats a repair everyday.

I have a really crappy prenerf t21...which means it's about the same as the really good post nerf ones, and I've repaired it 3 times.

Well **edit**!

This sucks...I sold my EQ account and I hate playing Shadow Bane. Is there any other games out there? And don't say DAoC or AC didn't care for them either.

Thank you so much for letting us know. I need to read the boards more often. Last night, I had the pleasure of going out with a hunting party, one member a chef, gave me some food...Then noticed a bit later, my willpower was not moving at all, stuck at 200 something.

I love mind reduction power-ups, I carry crates of them and use them constantly. There I sit, (waiting for my mind to come back) not know why my willpower not working, and noticing my two day old laser has decayed to 650.

I found out about the food bug on another forum and now the answer to the decay here.

I was able to repair my prenerf T-21 a few weeks back using an 88% effective WRP.

This tells me that:

1. Repairs do work (I only lost 100 out of the orig condition 900/900)

2. The talk of a rumoured prenerf T-21 repair critical error nerf (to remove them from the game) isn't true as of yet. . . . Thank god. . .
