Thread: anyone else using 80m arms?

Well, why the hell can coverts attack Player placed bases? I don't know, I was'nt here when they made the "On leave," "Combatant," Special Forces" system.



Also when I left, turrets had 80m ranges, why did they change that?

The turrets are badly exploited/bugged by both sides on our server. One side or the other retreats to the safety of their turrets, if the other side attacks they are instantly incapped and deathblowed by a turret firing 30+ times per second.


With the ranged arms I can attack the turret at 80+m and not get hit. 3-4 combatant rifleman could take out the turrets on a base pretty quick and then some proper pvp could take place. PvP shouldn't be about hiding behind turrets, avoid incap and only riflemen being the only effective class.

Hold on just a damn second. If you are going to make an accusation like THAT then please provide some proof. I have NEVER been covert shooting turrets EVER. The members of , at least the ones I play with regularly, make it a point to go overt every SINGLE time we take a base. Wether it's pve or pvp, doesn't matter. I'm not sure who you are IG, but you are severely mistaken by this claim.


Btw Turrets aggro at 85m so no rifleman is going to be able to get out of range of a turret and take no damage.









it seems that both of us wrote w/o all pertinant information. I was told that that's what you were doing, and I wrote that post before I got there, weather or not you actually were, I don't know, I do know that you were overt when I got there, becuase I killed you, (or helped anyway, I only got one solo kill, some advanced scout that ran away from a jedi right into me)


It has been a problem with rifleman taking out turrents out of range of the turrents though on Valcyn.


I owe you an appology, I hope you accept it.
