Every sniper has a sidearm... get one. (mines a carbine).

You see groups of people going out hunting on the big game planets.. Kimos.. Krayts.. Dark Jedis.. Well guess what. It's quite possible for you to solo all of those types mentioned and ALOT more then you can imagine. I'm still far from master, currently have 4/1/0/2 and I can solo just about anyting that a) doesnt fire back at me with a blaster. b) is a creature and NOT a humanoid c) depends if it pack assists. There's a few other small factors on wether or not is soloable, like the resists and AR (3 with 50% resist = t21 worthless against besides ms2/1). I don't know why I've complained about Rifleman in the past but I sure as hell dont right now. I can take down these massive creatures and I'm sure others have done it before. So keep your rifleman class and grind that exp up, filling up accuracy tier improved me by alot and combat tier is also climbing now.

One thing I feel people need to stop doing is comparing pistol and rifle on a one on one target.

My Spec atm is 4 1 4 3. I went for the master sniping for the accuracy then I went the aoe route. I use a laser rifle thats 20 600 ish sliced with 6.2 speed.

A. Rifleman are a support class. And we do one hell of a job at it.

B. When taking on multiple targets, we shine. With my 2 friends last night we were doing faction missions. While they entertained the 3 or 4 targets I used supriseshot2, flurryshot2 and flushingshot2 to do insane damged to all 3 or 4. I am talking about 3k hits x 3 or 4. No pistoleer, no carbine can do this damage. This is why I like my rifleman. We support our groups and help kill things faster.

So if you can handle the grind to the top then hang in there. This class does not shine untill you master sniping and countersniping. After that the rest just falls into place.

Drag you bring up some valid concerns i have had as well. The people who are telling you to leave are 12 year olds that just want to bring up the postcount.
