Thread: Rifleman's Outcry.

Some guy starts ANOTHER post about how bad we suck(as if there aren't 50 he could have added on to) and some how this turns into a novice vs master rifleman argument LOL we lack unity in our forum but we want the devs to fix our problems, great, we can't even agree on what needs fixing.
For those that can't stop praising the pistoleers, change class, go be one, obviously that class has the benefits you consider important. We're not suppose to be like them, that's why our profession says 'rifleman' not 'pistoleer' and those that can make blanket statements about who does more damagejust have narrow views, riflemen have their moments, it's all situational.
I'll give two personal examples. Seething Bol Crushers on dantooine have medium armor, who do you think does more damage to them, pistoleer or rifleman?(for those that really don't know the answer, the pistoleer DX2 has a 50% penalty against medium armor, while the rifleman gets a 25% damage bonus using the T-21) 2-3 crushers attack your group, who do you think doesfar moredamage, pistoleer or rifleman?(a pistoleer can only shoot one target unless they want to go point blank and risk incap, a 0/0/3/0 rifleman can hit all of them for several thousand damage each) Doing damage is not our problem, -maintaining- high damage output is another story, and our HAM costs affect riflemen whether novice or master.
The most useful rifleman skills are gained at 1/1/3/3 halfway thru the class you have everything you need until master level, if those skills aren't enough to be an adequate rifleman, maybe a different class would be preferable?

Im with ya 100% there isnt any unity within our ranks.
And that is the problem.
If anyone comes here and says it sucks to be a novice rifleman they get shot down by the uber l33t master rifleman.
I personally think Rifleman is the hardest profession to advance, the more i work it they more i think it and with the various issues we have at the moment, it is only making the profession harder.
Anyways, im with ya and would be happy if we could all agree on the same thing but unfortunately i dont think this will ever happen.
Do i like rifle, of course i do, i wouldnt stay a rifleman if i didnt, what i dont like is constantly seeing Master Rifleman berate Novice Rifleman becuase it is too hard.
Master Rifleman should be trying to help these guys out, not bad mouth them!
Its as simple as that. im startting to get the impression that some of these Masters Simply want to try and persuade people into not becoming Master Rifleman so that can claim to be uber!!!
