Disagree -


3 - I don't think rifles need to have more power... I think pistols need to have less and be almost useless at more than 25 meters with their optium being anything less than 10 meters, after all they are pistols. At less then 10 meters pistols should be near pinpoint, at more than 25 meters they should be lucky to hit a whitewhale on a black background.


7 - Most of my hunting is against creatures and not players, the biggest problem with the class I have is with the massive increase in melee damage. I can understand increasing the damage, but not by as much as they did. I would rather see a decrease in the percent increase in damage as a riflemans level increases. What I mean is that a novice rifleman get 2.5x damage while a master only gets 1.75x. Arifleman should be more vulnerable to a melee attack than any other profession, however a master rifleman should take less penality than a novice rifleman due to experience in such matters. If nothing else, they should decrease it until the teleport bug is fixed...

I agree completly and fully with all of these, however i do believe similar things should be added to pistoleer and carbiner's( i don't believe thats the right term), so as not to make riflemen a class out there that is unbeatable with certain other classes. I have seen the overbalancing in other games, especiall diablo 2, although it is completely different than this game, because of suc a high demand for changes. But, i do think these are all very good points especially numbers 7 and 11.

I pretty much agree with all of it, except the damage increase. OUR damage is fine, as others have said many times, it's the pistols that are crazy.

I like 6 most of all.


and there needs to be more of a accuracy penalty for pistol that is shooting 45-64 m away. like double the penality or x3. right now, pistols with there speed can do more damage at 64m than I can do at 64m as a rifleman.


oh, remove the x3 melee damage. right now i cant hit the broad side of a barn at close range with my rifle and its slow as hell anyway. Why the x3 damage modifier to me at melee range? this is basically saying, anyone melee that gets enclose gets an the win, this includes PvE and PvP.

1. Completely agree.


2. Don't care either way, I don't use Aiming


3. Don't agree, once T21s are fixed (and all the servers finally get the resources to build them) we won't have a problem.


4. Don't care either way, I go after creatures...


5. I don't have conceal shot yet, but I think it would be awesome.


6. l agree 100% about the aiming pentalties, I'd also go along with not getting the aiming penalties, but having our blip disappear from all other radars, and having us only be targetable by the person clicking on us.


7. I guess, though I think we could use all the Melee defense we can get, especially when they fix the problem with having to stand still to attack someone, or they give medics the ability to heal mind (I'm 100% against mind healing)


8. I don't have Sniper Shot either, can't agree or disagree.

10. HS4= Sweetness...(in other words, agree)


11. If they make pistols useless at 35 or 40m, I don't see much of a reason to give us this added range...there has to be at leastSOME balance between the two...

1. Agree. A rifle with an ideal range of 55m should not have a -50 penalty at 64m. And a pistol with an ideal range of 15m should not be even close to the accuracy of a rifle at 40-64m. I can actually hit about as much with my pistol at 64m as I can with my rifle.

2. Neutral. I certainly wouldn't mind the bonus to aiming and I think it would add to the proffesion pretty well, but it's low on my priority list.

3. Disagree. With some other fixes (AR rating, etc.) I don't think this will be that big of an issue. I do find it anoying how much higher DPS pistols have compared to rifles. But if your #4 were to get included then I think that would be enough.

4. Agree. Pistols, on the average, are not desiged with the armor penetration capabilities that rifles are. Armor peircing should be the realm of the rifle.

5. Agree. I like this idea very much. This would make conceal shot much more usefull than it is currently, and much more true to life in my opinion.

6. Agree. This just makes sense.

7. Neutral. Would be nice though.

8. Sorry, no personal experience here so I don't know.

9. Agree. Again, this makes perfect sense and the ability to knockdown a prone target seems like an exploit to me.

10. Neutral. From what I've read, Strafe Shot 2 is a very high damage AOE. An AOE headshot would be cool, but likely a bit unballancing, and PVP doesn't need to be any faster. It would be nice to also have a similar high damage single target shot as well for grouping situations where AOE is not desireable. I do think that the status effects could be better chosen. I'd like effects that have purpose in both PVP and PVE (mobs, NPCs, PCs).

11. Strongly Diagree. If the accuracy modifiers for all weapons are changed to where they should be then this is not needed and I think would be unballancing. As long as a rifle hits 5 times as often as a pistol at 50+m. That should solve the main issue.

Rifleman are fine the way they are. Just give us better skills in the Counter-Sniping branch and that should do it. Oh yea and give us our T21 on flurry devs and please fix the 0 armor piercing on it. thanks.

12) Replace current corrsepondant with TekDragon, this post should be his responsability, he should go read on other profession boards to learn (ie: Doctor correspondant is awesome).
