I used to be a Master Rifleman months ago, and never did try this ability out. I used it in PvE all the time, however, since I didn't PvP much back then, I want to know whether this skill is viable in PvP or not. Does your opponent actually not see you, and you can snipe him?

As my esteemed collegue stated it does not hide you in pvp but it does reduce ranged damage. Currently it is not that viable in pvp as much of that is melee ranged and melee style. Going into cover basically immoblizes you and does not allow for healing or peace or any number of other abilities.

This is true until you get Concealment III. Then you have the sneak ability which allows you to crawl and peace while undercover.

while it is true you gain the ability to crawl it still is much slower movement then normal and you still are unable to heal etc...
