yeah - it seems to be broken.. Also I have tried to time how long it takes for critters to run to you if you shoot at them. It doesn't seem to matter if you are just prone or if you are covered too..

"Take Cover" is also broken in that the "/tellpet" command will not work while you are under cover. I use "/tellpet" for all of my pet command hotkeys, and when I'm under cover they don't work at all. Regular spacial chat still works, but I don't use spacial in my hotkeys because it's annoying as hell when someone keeps spamming "f" "s" "g" "t1" etc. in spacial chat.

hmmm, XJ it is and isn't broken... If you are against a single target (the one you have targeted when you go into cover) it appears to give a nice bonus... unfortunately if he has any buddies they do not experience any sort of damage/hit reduction. So yes it does give a nice damage reduction - but no... it does not help >_<

Also... with the npc's doing specials now you can be hit with a strafe 2 (which clears cover) and which will delay you 10 secs (if you survive the damage...) pretty much the only real delay attack left in the game. So no do not use cover...

I haven't used cover for over 7 months I think. On a side note, has anyone ever used those "cover" type kits that rangers get? Do those do anything?

They delay associated with SS2 removing cover was suppose to have been changed like all the other delay specials when those were changed.

You should only suffer the delay as long as you aren't attacked again.

If that isn't the case list it as a /bug.

No. It's supposed to provide you with extra ranged defense. It doesn't seem to at all. If it does, it's not enought to make it worth the effort. Ignore it for now.

never talked about the delay being removed from ss used on pc's undercover- delay has never be mentioned as being removed from ss2

I use cover for single pulling mobs. IE Nightsisters. I Take Cover, then bleed the mobs, then peace. When the bleed ticks it comes solo. Thats about it, other than that its not good becuase if you take cover and start shooting a pack of mobs, all of his friends agro you.

Never said it was removed. Said it had been changed to be like the other delay effects. SS2 will delay the target 10 sec or until you damage them again. Whichever comes first.

*realizes she should read what waste types closer next time... *

your right but still any delay sucks... especially if it skips your attack so they get another huge ss2 on you....

Yep. Basically it will give the attacker a free attack. However I don't know if you can break the delay from taking any damage or just damage from the person that delayed you.

I would assume it was from any damage. Otherwise you could have someone use PanicShot or any other delay attack and just not attack them. But let everyone else in your group (or those helping you) pound on the poor sap for ten seconds.
