i have atm (till i can add my 2 +4's to my forthcoming reb battle armor) +7 SEA'sand i was hitting for 877 damage. (head shot)
I then got the master marksman box (+15 speed +25 acuracy) and i was hittign for 1024 (head shot) so the increas in damage takes a lot of speed, but it IS there 
dps pre MM: ~151 POST MM: ~168 with my converted, now not so great t-21

nooo, that makes no sence, acuracy may increase the number times you hit or miss,not add to damage,\
BUT your point about the spechail is good, does speed decrease the spechail timer??? if not what DOES it do? increas speed of auto shooting?
I might drop master marks and get the acuracy tree in carbs instead. so ill be MR, MCM, and a tree + in carbs..
only prob is ill actualy need to grind out the extra tree.

devs stated that every acc higher then your opponents defence gives a dmg bonus, as well as a chance-to-hit bonus!!
and the refresh of specials is indeed based on your speed/weapon speed.
also note that there is no longer an auto attack. you can use ranged shot for 0 action cost and placed shot for a higher dmg, but small cost.
