Spraystick is an absolutely essential part of my rifle line. It's fast and pistol-like, ie. you dont stop running when firing it, adn you can actually hit a mob with it when in melee range, unlike most others where you miss every shot (at low levels at least). It's great for kiting banthas (which you have to do when you're on a server with no T21s. /curse soe)

I use the spraystick for smapping headshot2 or just straight up anti-pistol fighting in PvP. Too many pistoleers with their uber specials.

I cannot speak to the value of a Tusken as I have never used them. But I will say that the spraystick is a valuable tool for your arsenal.

Every one of us have surely hit a target for massive mind damge, then while waiting for the next shot on your rifle to cylce, had a creature come charging up on you. Now, you havea choice, you can switch to pistol to avoid the 2.5x melee damage, or you can stay with your rifle and hope to get off another headshot. If you switch to pistol, you are essentially starting over or hoping non-specials will eventually hit the mind and finish the creature off. This is where the spraystick is handy. If you are able to keep far enough ahead of a creature to avoid melee damage, why switch from a rifle (and, therefore, from rifle XP)? And why risk using your bigger, slower rifles at a range where a penalty applies? Better, switch to your spray stick. You will continue to getrifle XP and you can fire off rifle specials, such as mindshot and headshot, trading ubber damage for ubber speed and lower ham, and the spraystick has better close range stats.

Spraystick has saved my butt on more than one occasion, including taking down a slicehound that was chasing me.

Of course, if they getright on you, it is a gamble to stay with the spraystick, so unless you expect to take the critter out before you give in to the 2.5x damage, switch to pistol.

um those arent bugs, the spraystick used to use acid damage and tusken rifle used to use kinetic but the devs changed them for some reason...

anyways the tusken sucks it was only good as a beginning weapon as a higher damage alternative to the DLT20 when the game just came out and everyone was doing Tusken fort raids.

The usefullness of the spraystick goes away as you gain more rifle speed. Its only advantage is ROF.

The Jawa is great in situations were the target is vulnerable to stun.

The T-21 is amazing for tons of fast damage, and does the best autofire damage. (It runs through alot of powerups that way though)

The min damage on the laser rifle offsets its max damage.

The E-11 (a good one, there are horrible ones out there as well) is a great general purpose rifle.

DLT-20A a good rifle and useful for lair damage or when low on mind.

In all honestly I see little use for the Tusken as an energy weapon, it's slower and doesn't do that much more damage then my old DLT20A I used in the day and the DLT20A fires faster, much faster. I have little need for a rifle that fires at a rate of 9 or 8 something.

The spraystick, which honestly is the only weapon worth using when you have a guy in your face and you want rifle XP. Also as a sidenote that would be best if you were kiting while firing it. Spamming warning shot and headshot with it is great as well.

Though lately I have had little need for it since I got my T21. I normally take them out, or my pets do before they get that close.

I do agree that he Tusken should do kinetic, might raise the usefulness of it some, and the spraystick acid, which make it a much more versitale weapon. That or of course fix our T21 to what it's suppose to be.

Yes, still here, least physically.

Spraystick to me is an inferior pistol with a 2.5x's damage penalty vs melee attached. I really don't see a point to it.

Anything a spraystick can do, an E-11 can do better.

If you love the spraystick, you may be in the wrong profession =) Some pistols do 3x's the dammage and no penaltys etc.

Personally I carry about 11 rifles on me, but I'm a little ecentric about my rifles. I commingly use 4.

1)DLT20a - 6 generations out fo date, horrible. Repaired so many times its down to 219 max or something. But I keep it handy for when I'm caught on a muon downer or in situations my minds shot, but I need to apply specials. I rarly use it, as I'm pretty careful about downers etc.

2) Awsome Jawa for bypassing composite and for city fighting at closer ranges. (dont use it much anymore)

3) Kryat Laser - Use to be my primary PvP but obsoleet now, use it on NPC's when I don't want to wear my T21.

4) A real nasty T21 =)

I have a array of differant dammage type rifles in my pack, but honestly I find the T21 is all I really need.

Oh, PS: I'm a long time master rifleman - Don't use the T21 if your not, the Laser is better for you.

I use my Spraystick when I'm traveling and also to apply specials rapidly on my target, then switch to my Laser, or as of Sunday, my T-21. In my opinion a Spraystick is the most under appreciated rifle.

My main guns are:
T21- high damage output, it's my primary weapon since i have 1200 mind, 800 focus as mon cal. Still wreaks havoc on my mind but i last long enough to clear the lair and everything around it.
Laser- Destroying lairs mostly
Jawa- killing arachne on endor for one, in general very useful.
SG82- killing mites on endor, don't know much else that have cold vulnerabilities + resistant to my T21.

I don't use Tuskans since they don't offer any significant advantage over other weaponry. And if i wanted to warning shot i'd rip out a pistol rather than spray stick because of the 2.5x melee.

I use the spraystick from time to time, I'd use it more if it only consumed mind, not action + mind.

-Human rifleman, so thats a problem with mind maxxed
