hello

i have been building my arsenal of rifles, some i can see as useful - so i have

T-21- heavy armour piercing and cool look

Laser - General Damage Dealing

Jawa Ion - Stun Damage

SG87 - Cold Damage

So does anyone make use of a spraystick or tusken rifle - I can see the spray stick being nice as it is fast, but see it as a little used weapon atm - same for the tusken.

so does anyone make use of these weapons, if so - what do you use them for and should I have them?

I'm not using tusken rifle atm because of the type of dmg bug, which is suppose to be kinetic instead of energy.

Spary stick also is bugged a bit. It was supposed to be acid damage. Personaley my rifle of choice is my E11. Looks cool, and with the krayt tissue and slice it does 80-190 damage with 2.2 speed

I've tried making Tusken rifles as an expert weaponsmith, but they are broken, slow pieces of junk. You experiment on some of the parts and it has no effect, I wish they were fixed though because I like the look. My main rifle is a fully experimented E11, it looks great and has much higher minimum damage than the laser rifle. Typical hits are from 600-1400.

Tusken Rifle is only good if you are beginning your Rifle track in Marksman and can't afford or find a good DLT20a.

Can't remember the last time I used a spraystick also.

The spraystick seems to be more accurate at close range I switch to it when I'm running for my life against fast mobs. I can sometimes get lucky and kill a chasing opponent with it where I'll never do that with the laser or T21.

Course I also sometimes switch to a CDEF pistol since it removeds the 2.5 damage modifier.

The E11 bothers me only because it works similar to any carbine. I hate the fact that you stop moving to shoot. It is a quick shooter though. (i'm low end rifleman)

If it wasn't for that 2.5 damage mod i would use the Spraystick also in the exact same situation. I have pistoleer also, so I always go to my FWG5 or DX2 instead.

I think tusken rifle is the most beatifull looking and the uglieast is the T21,the barel looklike the water cool barrel of the machine gun in WWI<or maybe it is just me > .

I will use the Tusken if they fixing it and give it some more damage to make up for the speed .

Uses for spraystick:

1) Saving wear and tear on your expensive guns when farming low level critters for hides, meat, and/or bone.

2) Spamming Warning Shot vs. tough critters.

3) Auto-defending against Melee NPCs who aggro on you while you're travelling.

Except, y'know, fire as fast. And have the same accuracy at point blank range.

When I'm trying to get a Warning Shot to stick on the red-con Sharnaff that's right in my face and stepping all over my toes, I am interested in two things:

1) Rate of fire
2) Point-blank accuracy

The Spraystick beats the E11 on both counts.

Yeah, pistols are better, but -- and call me crazy here -- I'm one of those people who believes I shouldn't need to learn Pistol skills (or Melee skills) to survive as a Rifleman.
