Thread: Nightsister Elders
I like the idea of shooting the elder and hoping on my bike, but most of the time when I dismount I usually warp. So this is my technique: I look for elders about 500m-1000m away from the nightsister stronghold, once i find one I bust out my creature mount, take some food/drink/spice, then conceal shoot him away. I have been able to conceal shoot elders without them noticing me, but most of the time they catch on to me sniping them. Anyhow usually I am lucky enough to knock 100k+ health off of her before she spots me, when she sees me I hop on my creature mount and just kite her to the stronghold. Inside the stronghold there are little huts that form circles. All I do is do a regular attack on the elder while on my creature mount and have her chase me around in circles. The main reason I kite her to the stronghold is that it is enclosed with a fence, and lots of room inside so you dont have to worry about other mobs attacking you. If she ever catches up to me I just /gallop, then /gallopstop and proceed to attack. You cant fire specials while riding a creature mount so if you don't knock 100k+ off of her first with conceal shot, this method will take an hour for the kill. After the elder's ham is down to 100K her resistences drop dramaticly, and she dies fairly fast. I have been on a elder killing spree, of course in search of the nice T21 rifle, but no luck so far. I have gotten some pretty nice polearm weapons off of them, but I have no use for them so my guild buddy lucks out. The best loot I have gotten so far was an exceptional SG82, max damage 350, condition half gone, no dots, or mods, but really low ham costs for speicals something like 11 in mind, and this dropped from a nightsister protector.
This strategy works well for me, but idealy I would do the same thing with a friend so while the elder is chasing me around in circles my bud can strafe 2 her ass and vise versa when she argos him. Oh got off track up there, but another reason I kite them to the stronghold is so that, when thier ham gets low, we all know that they start to run away and most of the time just warp out, well as mentioned the stronghold is fenced in and big, so while she is running you have time to get off your mount and spam strafe2 on her before she gets out of the fenced in area. I have yet to see any of them warp directly out of the fenced in part, but sometimes once they get to one of the gates they sometimes warp from there.
It seems to be a waste of time to hunt only elders, most of the time I dont get **edit** for loot, luckly I am a master fencer as well as master rifleman so I can kills some protectors and weavers to increase my chances of loot. LOL I sound very much loot happy, but I dont dig doing missions so I try to find decent loot like shards, layers, and leather to sell so I can afford the armor, buffs, food, and weapons that are used to hunt them. I find it more enjoyable to hunt NS then do boring missions.
Anyways good luck to you all.

Do they ever drop anything good? All i've ever got is credits, and a nice sun guard. (gray)
