Each FS box costs 1 skill point and you need 6 full lines(24 boxes/skill points) to qualify for the 'exit quest' and begin the Initiate trials. After Initiate, from what I understand, you cannot give up any of those boxes later without first getting more to replace it. Example: You have 6 full lines and Jedi Initiate. You cannot drop one FS line until you first get a 7th one(so when you drop one line, you still have 6).
