last I checked, the wound damage was REROLLED, rather than added, to the existing wounds. ie: you have 500 focus wounds, you're hit with a player's bleed, you have 37 focus wounds (unless it hits willpower... might need a couple hits).
if this does work it is a bug/exploit and will have to be reported and fixed.

with TC currently in a 'less-than-ideal' state (ie, a dead community from the lockout), it isn't something I can test with other players...

it's not something I can just 'test' on my own... at least, not until I can figger out how to point the rifle at my own head and use a special.
am a tc regular (though with a wipe coming for the for these last two weeks i have avoided it) - if you want to test - I may be on space beta 1 as Tife laellin

to REALLY test it right, we need:
a rifle.
a combat medic.
a victim.
an entertainer.
admittedly, a pistol/carbine/fencer/swordsman/pikeman could be substituted for the rifle spot... and the various roles don't need to be spread across more than 2 toons.
CM diseases substats of victim.
time passes. stats are recorded for the Victim.
Rifle (or whatnot) shoots a targetted bleed at Victim and hits /peace.
stats are recorded.
repeat 'Rifle shoots' and record the effect of each shot.
go to the cantina, and heal all the boo-boos with the Entertainer.
BIG FUN PARTY!
if my TC crew starts logging back in, we might make a go of the test. finding folks on TC after the lockout, and with the rollback incoming, and with frogs and noobs and bugs OH MY! is the real trick.
I've already got 2 accounts... and a NONFROG CM, rifle, and more... but I don't feel like spending an hour or more making some disease packs (which would require running willy-nilly from starport to starport to grab resources from the frogs).
