Can't believe y'all had never heard of the zerg!!


The clone zerg is where everyone runs in, un-buffed, trying to do as much damage as possible. Main use is in base defense, but full buffed offensive zergs are a thing of beauty. We got a 60 person imp zerg in a base on Bria, at Sancutuary. Man, it got ugly fast. We all were buffed, mind and body, muoned and ready to roll. This was prebrandy, so rifles did real good for themselves.

w-t-f would you tone down a high wound chance? woundsare what ends PvP. currently only the CM can effectively end PvP fights. crank up the wound chances on all weapons. give everyone the ability to wound like a CM.

Havent been a WS since january- but was for six months or so when the server started-


You can't really "tone down" wound chance- the experiment for damage affects damage, speed and wound dmg all at once. Now you can get an odd roll with these factors where they dont balance as normal, but you can't substitute speed or dmg for lower wound chance- so take all Wound Chance youcan get


You can usesome looted parts which affect dmg and wounds, but generally, the higher the weapon dmg / lower the speed (pre-slice)- the higher the wound chance stat will be for that weapon.


The only looted items i saw in the old days that affected wound chancewere the high speed nym motors for vibro type weapons which would add wound chance.


There was alsosome random special or legendary loot that is near impossible to acquire that affected wounds- but chances are you will never see any unless "uber" loot becomes a lot more common.

The Actual term Zerg, I think comes from the fact that when the protoss, or the humans are making 1 unit per "hatch" the Zerg Brood get 6. The basic infantry of the Zergs have low Hit points, and low armor, but there are sooo damned many of them, with just a short time, the unit (Named "Zergling") has produced 6X the amount of Front-line infantry that the other "races" have.

In Eq, it is common practice (rather WAS common) to enter into a fight, knowing that you would die, 2, 3, 4 or more times, Get Ressurected back, loot your stuff, and get back into the fight, with no buffs or anything.


The clerics would only be rezzing people back into battle, not healing..
