Well SWGMerchant, this may show the state of affairs of riflemen weapons, but I am now looking up schematics on websites and finding the parts and giving them to a WS to make for me. It is just sad the lack of even decent rifles, sure you can always find laser or t21's but after that everything else is few and far between.

The one thing I would love to see is a spraystick with highdamage 150 and above with a great accuracacy rating. I use a spraystick when the mobs close in on me. I had one when I played on Scylla and it saved me many times I would pay up to 15K for one that was uber.

I have a few guns.

A Dlt20a-damage sliced to 141-241, low ham is good for warnign shots and low end targets

an E11-damage sliced to 156-256, great for lair busting!

2 laser rifles -both damage sliced to 78-455 damage. I use a +min/max damage on one and a +max damage -ham on another. That way I bleed with the +min/max and head shot or what ever with the ham one.

and a lovely Jawa Ion rifle: 140-250 sliced for damage. Great for commandos and other in Compoisite armor

Laser Rifle: about 45-400+ dmg, speed not exceeding 6.0, HAM costs not exceeding 60 mind.

i pay 12-20k a piece usually and buy a few at a time to get a good slice.

T21 - hmm kinda tough, i just dont see it that usefull until it becomes un-nerfed somewhat, i have one that has 317 max dmg, default HAM and speed, paid 30k a piece, now i would probobly pay a lot less since they arent that usefull.

Jawa Ion Rifle - max dmg 211 points, forgot speed, HAM is around 40 mind costs. paid 15k a piece.

Spraystick - 180 max dmg, mind HAM around 40, paid 7-9k a piece.

SG82 - 279 max dmg, forgot speed, has low HAM same as the jawa, nice weapon, different dmg type, paid 14k a piece.

i also bought 2 experimental Laser Rifles with some advanced components, their max dmg is 460, but the mind HAM alone is 116 and health / action 56 each i think, so they both sit in my bank after the initial novelty of their usage wore off. They just arent practical.

I just recently consolidated my rifle selection, I now carry 3 T21's, a laser, and a spraystick. The laser is low HAM, average stats,damage sliced and was my weapon of choice until recent relegation to lair buster. TheSpraystick is low HAM, average stats,speed sliced for close range work when grouped (although I will be looking for a higher damage, damage sliced one very soon). My T21's consist of the original I bought for 30k (speed sliced >< with all round average stats, a 2nd that I bought for 17k (also speed sliced)with pretty poor stats but this is now permanently powered up (bought it solely for that reason) and finally a good damage average HAM one that was pre-sliced for damage that I paid 60k for.

If I did this all again I would go looking for the lowest HAM, cheapest T21/Laser and just keep crates of powerups on hand for PVE. For PVP Iam more than willing to pay big credits for a pre-sliced damage model.

Like Spraysticks. I made a spraystick for my Fejorn character and its 25-199 1.2 spd. I had a speed slice and a 33% max dam powerup i love this thing. Fejorns only a novice rifleman so the speed makes a difference for me.

I generally use laser rifles and DLT20a (occasionally Jawa or SG82 depending on resists).

Laser - High damage. Low HAM is good, but it's really all about the damage. I'd be willing to pay a HAM penalty too for increased accuracy/damage

DLT20 - Low HAM and modest damage. this is my every situation rifle. I use it so I can spam specials at will.

Tusken's - don't bother making them

I don't know if you can specifically target specific HAM pools for reduction, if so only worry about mind.

I generally pay in the 10k range for a weapon but would be willing to pay much, muchmore for one with exceptional stats. (i.e. a laser with over 400 damage pre-sliced)

I have a crafter account and a warrior account. I decided to make rifles my main concern sinceI could not find too many smiths already making them, and they were way over priced. I don't pvp much so i don't use a jawa ( I did make a 200 max unsliced one, but it just sits there), and i have tka so i don't need a spray stick. BasicallyI carry around a laser rifle for most fights and use T21 only for heavy armor mobs like kimos. I don't use the T21 for anything but heavy armor mobs mainly becauseI wear out the gun so fast its a waste to use it for anything else.
