whats a MCM heal for, 1.5k each shot or something?
Also in group situations CM or Doc is good to have for the rez ability. But it really boils down to preference, I use to be MR/MBH but drop BH for Carbine and Pistol Skills. I've always kept Novice Medic though.

SAme boat, currently i am MAster Rifle/Master BH I am on the fence with CM as well because hunting jedi isnt all that fun takes way to much time and if the rumors are true they may remove the jedi names and payouts so u have no idea who you are hunting nor their level. Any rifle/cm out there? Help us you are our only hope!
I third this. I currently like to solo a lot of the big stuff like krayts, gorax, and DJM's, but I'm afreaid that if I drop my BH I'll get screwed with the lack of TN. I want to keep master rifleman because of my great bowcaster and excellent recon armor, but I also think that if I switch to CM I'm gonna be hurting pretty badly with the lack of general ranged speed/accuracy, and I'll have lost a knockdown and a DoT that I can apply from 80m with my cybernetic arms. Hunting smugglers sounds fun, so I'm gonna be holding out on my respec for some time.

i've really enjoyed CM much more post-cu, esp the ability to rez at master.
the mezzes are really nice in pve and pvp and the dots are great to cut down on the high regen on high end mobs.
i'm pushing my template to m.RM, m. CM, doc 0004 and using the new BE terrain neg clothes.
although i admit it would be nice to have a KD or root.

that is exactly the same as my template: all the useful buffs in doc, super cm debuffs/heals/dots/res + the rifles damage (with snare and sneak capability) rocks
I find the doc 0004 line invaluable in a small group as the action and combat speed buffs can mean the difference between life and death
1 more interesting point is with my 94 rifle speed and the doc speed buff i can shoot faster than i did as a mbh/m rifle. Accuracy is not so high, nor is my damage really compared to the mbh variants but all the other things i mention above make up for it
and for the the damage department the dots are not shabby either

It really depends on your play style... If you're after every state root/snare etc possible with crazy damage and jedi hunting then mbh/mrifle is an excellent combo. If you prefer to be the support type, with considerable damage, crazy debuffs, dots and heals then cm is for you
As for ruby bliel sooner or later the bug associated with it will get fixed.

I was a Master Rifleman / Master CM for a while. I thought it made for a great versital class to play. You could dish out the damage, and heal at the same time. Also, this template gave me the ability to solo krayt dragons (yes, ancients too).
I am now a MBH / Mrifle mainly for the thrill of hunting jedi and engaging in PvP. Both templates were fun to me. =/

Master Rifleman + Elite Healing profession is a good template but has its fair share of flaws alongside all other templates.
Pros
+ Healing, Wound Healing, Res, etc. With Pub.19, it'll be that much better.
+ With M.Rifleman + Doctor or CM, you get Certification for Battle Armor to go alongside your Recon Armor.
+ Buffs if you get Doctor.
+ Great in groups.
+ Potential for longevity in a fight.
Cons
+ Low Ranged Accuracy compared to other full-stack ranged templates.
+ Low Ranged Speed compared to other full-stack ranged templates.
+ Poor Melee & Ranged Defenses.
+ Potential for disaster in short fights.
+ IMO, poor in 1 vs 1 fights / duels / small scale fighting.
If a MRifleman / Healer or CM gets targetted in a fight, they suffer tremendous damage due to a lack of defenses. If you force them into a healing cycle, then the attacker has gained the initiative and the advantage. Also, if they are forced into the healing cycle to keep up with the damage, they are no longer using that fancy T21 or Adv.Laser Rifle. That is the trap a full stack combat template fighter will try to get a player with healing skills into. They stack EVERYTHING into offensive/defensive power to do damage to force the healer to heal. Combat Medic DOTS are nasty, but the dots don't do anything for him when I've taken him down in less than 45 seconds from a relentless series of attacks.

Here is what I tried durring respec and I have found it to work really good for me.
Master rifleman, Master CH, BH 3/0/3/0
This way you can get to the terms and get that awesome rooted underhand shot from BH.

Rooted Underhand Shot? I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about their bud - Underhand Shot is a knockdown that can be recovered from in around 3 seconds. There is NO ROOT WHATSOEVER in the BH profession.l
