Thread: Nightsister hunting as a rifleman

Here's the thing. You can concealshot one all day and not kill it with energy. It's about the dots. I use to have a flamethrower too, so I could put a good dot on it, even though they also have 100% heat resist. So put your bleed on it. Prone 64 meters with a bleed. Then wait.
The bleed will start to take down the resists. Eventually you will start to see actual damage from your strafe2 with a T21 other than just having the AP 3 vs Medium armor bonus, or headshot if you prefer. By the end your hits will be doing more and more damage till its as if you are hitting any normal MOB. There is obviously some calculation to the resists that happens as the NPC loses health. So keep the bleed on it. That's guaranteed damage. A stun if you can land one, don't count on landing a dizzy though. Also their terrain negotiation stinks. Be prepared to spend a lot of powerups and guns at this, heh. Now, the staying alive part is your problem. =)
But still, I want my KINETIC TUSKEN RIFLE!!!!
Must be some truth to this, cuz last night while hunting I stumbled upon a NS stalker, and kited her. Doing hardly any damage per hit for a LONG time, then all the sudden after her HAM was about halfway gone, it started melting like butter. Just like any other creature/npc. And yes, kept a bleed on her. So, stalkers are penetrable. Add to this I am a very new master(since last Sunday)
