I assume mind is going to become Stim healable, but that might be making an "Ass" out of "u" and "me".

If they reduce our speed through Cap or Mod adjustment they will not increase our damage. They will "Balance" us, which means they will nerf us. They see a bunch of newer riflemen and say "Hey we gotta make rifleman unatractive so we can reduce their number" they don't say "Why do riflemen have an advantage in our system? What's wrong with our system that constantly makes one profession the strongest"- Thats all hypothetical if they reduce our speed.
If they act like smart little developers and just take away the power of mind damage and nerf armor so Stun is not the only viable damage type then they have proved that they are making steps to truely "balance" the game.

Assault rifles are assault rifles, long barreled weapons firing high power ammunition. Carbines are shorter barreled rifles which generally use lower powered ammunition. An M16 is a Rifle. An M4 (looks like an M16, but smaller) is a carbine.
tometaophion has a very good point, especially about carbineers. And i really do think their specials accurately reflect it, they are good at medium range as they should be, they can apply several different status effect blind, dizzy and stun all from one special and dont forget their single and AOE KD moves.
The real debate has always been between pistoleers and rifleman. The main arguement being that we shouldnt be faster then them based on that fact that our weapons are suppose to be slower sinceour rifle speeds are slower then pistols. While us rifleman love to rub in the fact that in RL rifles are far superior weapons in most condition, it being faster, more accurate and deadier. I also think that the pistol nerf a few month back (the one that effected the scatter, fwg, and LP mostly) didnt help out either. Backthen some lucky pistoleers had some pretty awesome weapons (krayt / feed mech enhanced ones) and even your average joe had at least a weapon that was 50 damage higher then what it is now. With no damage nerf to the rifles this served to furtherincreasethe DPS gap. Now pistoleers argue we are overpowered, when in my opinion our professions is where it should be (minus block not working) and their profession is broken.They need to push for a higher speed mod bonus to make them self equal to us without having to resort to taking up Bounty Hunter. Oh yeah and the arguement about stun isnt really valid, since they do have 2 stun pistols now ( the tangle and the new geneosian ones).I seen some krayt enhanced geno pistols that are 400+ max damage. Also stun protection is available in the game so that's not really a valid complaint. Just add stun layer to any armor, use synth steak, or use a PSG (abeit when it's not shifting vunlerability).

Id back everythign you say. With the continual nerfing every class is getting rounded down and down until we are all really weakened.
