I do the level 109's often. DJK and DJM when I find them. I usually work with my second account on my laptop as a macro/backup bot for extra damage output and extra chances to land snares and roots. But I can solo a 109 and probably also a DJM if the conditions are right. I have tested a better template on TC recently that seemed to be a bit safer in soloing, though the kill takes a bit longer. I don't mind taking a few extra minutes if it means I am less likely to be killed. I really don't care much for the 109's as they mostly give me credits and rarely a good crystal. DJM is the thing to kill, possibly more so then krayts as the pearls don't seem to be premiums lately. Also DJM drop about the best CA/AA' s you are going to find. Just don't try it unless you are ranged. They hit 2 hard. Maybe master defender jedi would work though.
