I did most of my leveling with with the 2.5x melee penalty and the warping stuff, the system changed when I had around 2 boxes left so I suppose I could be considered old school.. heh!

I wish I had been able to start playing earlier than I did..

2 days after the start of the game I picked up a CDEF rifle and was prompty incapped by the animals outside theed

2 months or so later I smited those same animals with a T21 of doom at master

diffrent server now but still the same old gun =)

I got my Master Box Around the time they Fixed MOB Warping and removed 2.5 melee........ But I did master 50% of rifleman with nothing but a DL20a, we did'nt have Laser or T21's on my server yet

Man the laser rifle was off the chain when that link-steel spawned

Mastered rifleman shortly after they removed the 2.5x modifier

Might have mastered before then if it hadn't sometimes taken me 3 days to find a fellow rifleman to train me

I picked up my rifle opening week and I will go out with my rifle in hand. I remember mastering in the 2.5 erra.

I kind of wish they left the 2.5 x modifier in the game. I don't like hearing how easy the rifle grind is these days. Let the novices deal with the warping mobs and 2.5x damage... Then there would be more respect for masters of this profession.

wow, I wonder if I qualify. It took me so long I think I just sqweeked in. If I made it, it was by just a few weeks. None the less, I felt the pain of x2.5 for as long as it was possible AND being sub-master. Therefor I became the strongest advocate for removing it. I hope it NEVER comes back. If it does I quit Rifleman, and most likely the game.

I hit master right before the changes I believe, don't remember the exact date though.

old school here-- i mastered on laser rifles, as Weaponsmiths on my server couldn't make T21's yet. i spent 2 weeks on dathomir shooting baz nitches from steep cliffsides. and yes, they could even mob-warp up, though seldom. mostly, they just milled around at the bottom and bled.

kept master rifleman through all 29 of my holoprofessions too. saved bh for last, since it was the only one that would force me to drop MRM.

Eh??? What you saying sonny? What you think my hearing aide is turned off?

Oh well I am a rifleman from day 1, I remember getting most of my tips from Silverlobo early on. He was so far ahead of the curve considering he was talking about defense stacking from the begining.
