Who cares about spd on it, its pretyt low anyways, just get a dmg slice on a spray stick and grind grind grind.

Thats why they made the thing, so you can land hits on stuff thats going melee on you. Its basically like a pistol for rifleman... obviously oftenly forgotten about.

is that a joke? point blank area is CDEF style...

My buddy got to master rifleman from novice marksman from spamming pointblankarea1 on pikets in less than a day.

Like someone said, if you have another profession that can compliment it, it akes Rifleman easier. I'm mastering Pikmean first, then will use the combat xp fromPikemanto speedcap myself in the rifleman tree(I'm 3/2/1/2). With the speed maxed, I'll then be able to level easier through the rest.

it is cdef style though... pointblank area 1 does work for grinding but it teachs you nothing about the rifleman profession. The grind as it is sometimes called is not meant to be a gring- your supposed to have fun getting there and you learn much more about your profession if you take the time to learn it during the journey.

Your friend may be a master in name but he will not know the inside of the rifleman profession like a person who used all the abilities they learned on their journey to rifleman. I mean the person who did rifleman slowly but enjoyed every minute of the learning, that person is the true master rifleman and will be able to know instantly what shot is better in a situation and what effects he can place on his target.

Grind masters use SS2 and headshot 3 for everything - but our profession is much much much more than that.

Okay I recently just picked up novice rifleman and has some combat xp banked up so now I am 1/0/0/2 with about 60k xp for the third box. This is how the grind seems for me so far...

*Takes out T-21 rifle*

*'Attacks Qunker*

* Misses with head shot 2*

*Looks at thier stun vulnerability and switchs to his jawa with better range*

*Kneels*

*Spams head shot 2*

*5 Minutes pass*

*Kills the quenker*

*Moves to the seond quenker*

*15 Minutes pass*

*Finishes lair*

It seems its one of the worst grinds in the game.

I know rifles are long range tools but quenkers run up to you and there is no way of stoping them from doing that and I kneel gives me some accuracy but still takes long to kill.

I was wandering how much the speed tree makes a diffrence in this. I am also a TKM and was wondering if I should bank up combat xp and finsish the speed line(and get that sweet title soldier )or should just continue like this?

Please help

Perhaps start with lower creatrues. I used to kill feral banthas on tat for the first few boxes. (july of last year) They used to give 1k exp each and with a t-21 died in one shot. Buffs weren't needed. Once you get your accuracy up a little more then go out and blast quenkers.

Or have a weaponsmith make you a weapon with better range mods. Or use s different gun. Quenkers are pretty easy try a dlt20a or a laser rifle. Riflemen/women do have more guns than just the T-21 and Jawa Ion Cannon.

im doing the rifle grind now and its imensly fast, caped +25 speed/acc/acc while moving from tapes, citrus snow cake (acc) a 35%dmg sliced stocked laser rifle with a 31% speed PU gets me hitting them fast and accurate, i love this grind

*note* This is my 4time doing rifles, still think the grind is quite simple compared to others

It can be a pain, it kind of depends on what other professions you have. If you can get combat experience easily with another profession while doing some money runs on Dantooine to get the fourth line up that will help a lot. I did Quenker/Huurton missions on Dantooine simply spamming Point Blank Area 1 on the lair, you can use either the T21 or a Spraystick. Go up the Counter-Sniping tree first until you reach the third box and then use Flurry Shot 2 with a disruptor on the lair with Voritor Tracker missions. That will get you through it in a day or two, but you're going to need someone/something to tank, enough medic to heal yourself, or enough defensive skills from another profession to keep from taking much damage to do that.

I leveled rifle while doing scout/ch...was a good combo...just put out a pet..or 2...or 3...group them all and u get better missions...own little solo-grp....and i allways had nice tanks to do the dirty job...

I did not read the entire thread... so go prone. Get conceal shot and use that if you don't have a tank. Takes longer but they will not go into melee on you.
