I agree, if you want to be a rifleman, be one.

It will take some time to iron out all of the bugs and we have a great correspondant helping us get there.

If you are trying to play so you have the best template possible for PvE, or PvP, then you will be changing your template a lot over the next year. Otherwise, stick to what you like.

I would say be a rifleman if you want. As a CH, it really does not matter what combat skills you have for pve. In pvp, yes, there are other classes that are better. If you want to be the best, well, rifleman is not for you.

A note on tactics. Really, with range being key in this game, there are no tactics in pvp. Seriously, go watch in bestline. It is all about blasting and little tactics. Frankly, this game is not designed for pvp tactics.

Think on this though, they have nerfed many classes. My guess is Commando and CH are due a nerf (watch commandos in pvp, it is sad). Bounty Hunter they seem loath to touch, so, it would be a safe bet. Most of the other classes simply don't matter much in this game (sad to say).

Well I think i am going to stick with it for a while just to see how I like it. I am not sure I want to master it though. I may just go for that sniper shot or what ever it is called. I am not sure what I will do after that.

Stick with it. It is tricky grouping with non rifleman, you have to get them to either kite or tank the monsters so you can remain prone at good range. You need to coordinate which pools you are attacking. If the people you are playing with dont get it, find a new group or work with other rifleman. 2 rifleman can tringulate so they are covering each other's positionat 60 meters, making it very likly that one or the other will be able to finish off a mob with headshots.

Also try the Dlt20a rifle I have been getting them with 115-180 damage 4.7 speed base, then slicing and powering them up. Once you get more accuracy and speed this baby is great to PVP with because you can do multiple high level specials with very low mind costs. This gun may lower your dps slightly, but lowers the DPS you do to yourself considerably.

And since they lowered the Cert for Two handed curved sword, getting level 2 in that brawler tree is great, even as a crutch. Once you get the melee damage reduction, and extra ranged defense you will really see the benifits of being a marksman/elite brawler.

Really didn't mean to scare anyone away, just making sure he knows **edit** well and good what he's getting into instead of finding out the hard way like the majority of us.
