well atleast now I can forget about using HS3 and jsut use flushing 2 and SS2.
With this system in place combat will be won by the docs who can fully heal themselves while buffed and those who have crates upon crates of stims.
Btw to the commando, I want you to go to the rifle tree and read the title for 'Rifle Abilities IV'

3 second cap on my riffle...sure i can deal with that...No headshots..well thats a bit rougher....but no mind hits wiht my melee wepon?? aw man homie....
we poor poor swordsmen are really getting it up the nerf hole on this one...
What good are we now? no stat effects, terrible defence(and state defence),poor accuracy, and now no mind damage ... gee that was one of the only things i liked about swordsman...
Hmmmmm ya know worlds of warcraft sounds nice... so does lineage2 ... warhamer online looks fun too...

Dead on! With our mind attacks even a newbie with no playing skill at all can kill another player in seconds(like BH eye shot). Anyone complaining about ths "fix" wants to learn how to fight properly... All proffs are in the same boat here, Dont think you can out dammage a pistoleer? Or get hit by a carbineer at long range more times than you hit him?
Pub 8 isn't even on TC yet and you'er already complaining?

The original poster is complaining about one aspect of the combat rebalance(Ham system) and relating it to the current combat mechanics.
Please understand, the whole thing will bear no resemblance to what you know at the minute.
Until this is on test and those of us who have created test characters to explore this can try it, it is pointless moaning.
I will bet money one one thing though, noone of any profession will be soloing krayts after this, which, in my opinion , is a good thing.
I believe the original poster saw this:

And read only this:
"...allow Mind to be removed as a special damage type..."
I think the bulk of what the Devs were referring to was that with the regenerative HAMs for specials, spending mind on specials is no longer as critical as it is/was.
But I mean wow... can't we save the Publish 8 screaming for publish 8?
