I am a double loser. I have been Master Ranger/Master Rifleman for over 2 years and both are now dead. Great job SOE.

I have been around for quite sometime also and I dont know how long I will be around after this. It was extremely bad form for them to annouce this with such short notice and to dumb down the game really makes me feel betrayed. Rifleman from the beginning to the end.

When I first became a rifleman (few months after I first started playing) I said that I would always be a rifleman untill I quit, sadly now that will not happen, but ya never know

You've been a great correspondent Ackehece and I hope you get some sort of correspondent postion after the changes.

I was always able to find the info. I needed in these forums.

I too have been a rifleman from the start of the game and this is disappointing news indeed.

Triply so for me since my main char. is a MCH?Rifleman and my alt char. is a BE!!!

Talk about having the slam put on you! I am intotal shock and despair over these developments.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart for being such an active and conscientious advocate for us, Ackehece. I am sorry to see you go, and hope we can all see you continue to serve in some other capacity.

Thanks Acke. I remember posting on the boards before this game went live, saying that I was going to become a Master Ranger / Master Rifleman. I did so, got done with both roughly a month after the game went live. I dropped ranger after about a year but to this day, without ever having dropped it, I still am a master rifleman. I guess the streak will end November 15th, 2005.

I'm reserving judgement on the new system till I see it, but I think it is very safe to say that the way SOE handled this was a complete and utter fiasco. Par for the course for them, I guess.

SOE just doesn't understand at all. SWG was a great vision, was a good game, then it got worse, then CU had ups and downs while making many leave, and then this.

Sad, very sad.

As a Master Ranger/Master Rifleman (until this AM) I too am being shafted. I'm more upset about the loss of Ranger, but we were to be revamped into the Spy anyway, so I'll try that out.... but Commando looks real nice too!

Now I have to finish my FS grind, kill Mel and complete the Paddie trials (17 boxes to go!) all in the next 12 days!

I thought I'd have more time to get my alt, but now I guess its time to put the pedal to the medal!
